This week was okay! I was on vacation for the first three days, and that made it difficult. It was a blessing in disguise though, because I was able to enjoy some treats but because I was at a restaurant, enjoy portion control! I haven't binged at all and have been on track with my exercising. Here's to an awesome 2014. I…

Weekends! Come Friday and Saturday night, all I want to do is binge. Maybe because I don't have to wake up for class the next morning? I don't know. Happy to say this past Saturday was my second binge free Saturday in a row. Also, stress. I am an emotional eater, and when I get worried about something, all I want to do is…

I love it. Both the chocolate and plain are pretty good, but I prefer the chocolate one. I put it in protein shakes, I bake with it, flavor yogurt with it (pb2, plain greek yogurt and frozen berries is delicious), and lately I have been adding a little water to it and eating it with apples/veggies (celery/carrots). I've…

You'll have to tell me what you think of the inferno program! I can't really do it right now with school/finals and work, but hopefully I can do it at some point.

I have done Insanity and T25, and started Turbofire today. I don't have a ton of weight to lose, so maybe take this with a grain of salt. I loved Insanity. It was what created my love for fitness, and my results were ridiculous. I actually only lost 2 lbs but I lost a lot of inches and was in awesome shape. Next, I did…

I will be honest with you that month 2 killed me (I completed it about five weeks ago). It was so mentally exhausting and I was ready to give up. I did it, though! Just keep plugging away. You can do it!

Yup, those are my stats. :) I don't eat a ton of carbs and when I do it's whole grains such as ezekiel bread, millet/quinoa etc... never any white grains. I haven't drank soda in months (never have regularly), nor do I eat any processed foods generally, or anything with unnatural chemicals, etc. I'm a pretty clean eater…

Regardless of if I'm estimating too high (which I don't think I am. I don't know how much I'm burning, no clue at all, but I put into my settings on here that I'm not burning anything per week), I should still be losing weight according to the math. With the equation that came with Insanity, I'm AT LEAST a 400 DAILY…

Well, my carbs and sugar have been more than usual this past week but usually I'm at a 40c-40p-20f macros... 100% of my carbs (again, this past week has been the only exception in ages) are whole grains, generally ezekiel bread/pasta/quinoa etc. I don't use a HRM. I am planning on buying one ASAP though. I do have a coach,…

Well, if he wasn't a super fabulous TB, he was probably breezed going to the right. ;) But, it's also a balance thing, so really work on him bending and moving from his hind end correctly, it will come with time!

Oh, I didn't mean lunging; I mean small circles while on his back! ;) Definitely do extensive hill work at the TROT, both up and down the hills, which should help... Faster doesn't necessarily mean better in this case, and you'll get the most bang for your buck doing trotting hills, not cantering. Good luck!

Agree with this. Another thing that I like to do is do lots of 20 m and 10 m circles with these ones. Motorcycle turns make that rather unpleasant at the beginning, but this forces them to not lean in just because they'd pretty much topple over. Definitely just try to get your horse to rock back onto his hind end, and also…

I am memorizing Phillipians 4:6-7 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. I just finished memorizing Ephesians…

I predominantly read from my New International Version. I have the True Images Bible which is mainly geared at teenage girls and has little blurbs of advice. I find it to be kind of... young for me, even though I AM a teenage girl. I've also been reading both the ESV (English Standard Version) and KJV online to…

Hey everyone. :) I'm starting recovery week tomorrow! Excited and nervous for month 2... Feel free to add me as a friend :)

I read right before bed as well. Usually a half hour or so, I set aside to read and then pray. But, I usually read something first thing in the morning as well, usually just a little devotional or something.
