Dinner: Large plate of spaghetti with tons of Marinara Sauce/Parmesan cheese with a side of garlic bread. Dessert: Warm chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream.

This looks like a concoction of sugar free chemicals. I'll stick with fitting the real thing in my calorie goal.

"For instance, Alaska could be regarded as the highest state because Mount McKinley, at 20,237 ft (6,168 m), is the highest point in the United States. However, Colorado, with the highest mean elevation of any state as well as the highest low point, could also be considered a candidate for "highest state"

I'm having the same exact issue. The only thing that seems to work for me is making sure I get exercise in that day, no excuses. I also pre-log after I know what I'm going to be doing that weekend to make sure I can fit in the beer and restaurant meals. For me it just takes willpower and planning!

Low Carb Diet & Cardio are usually not a good mix for most people. Might want to focus on weight training if you insist on eating that small amount of carbohydrates.

To be honest with you I love my dog because she let's me smother her with love. When I tried to do that with my dearly departed cat he would scratch/bite me and run away.

No it's not required, but it's a crappy thing to do. At my wedding we got a lot of expensive and a lot of handmade gifts that cost nothing but someone's time that I honestly cherish more now that it's all said and done. Edited to say: To me a card is a gift also-- we got some of those too and that's all that was given with…

This was a wonderful and eloquent explanation-- needed to hear this, thank you! :flowerforyou:

I don't really see how this is an issue? Wear baggy pants when you exercise so no one can see your pad, problem solved.

Personally -- I hate substitutes for butter they all taste like chemical to me. I use butter only and use it sparingly. I know a lot of people use coconut oil on their toast because it melts very quickly at room temperature and it has some pretty amazing health benefits!

Awesome! 2 miles in 40 minutes is a wonderful start! Don't be worried to eat more like the other's said for now-- try to fill those calories with healthy foods it will give you more endurance to work out longer and harder! Best of luck on your journey! :flowerforyou:

Most people who work in an office have this issue. The only thing that can solve it is self control and consistency-- say no thank you in a polite manner and remember why you said no.

I'm 5'0, 171 pounds and I eat 1200 a day-- I work a desk job and only exercise lightly it's working for me as far as weight loss but I honestly think I'd feel better at around 1400-- I'm going to try getting 200 extra calories everyday of fruit's and vegetables to up my calories.

I agree with some of the OP's I'm not a big fan of cap sleeves. It's amazing what the seamstress can do, don't worry express to them your concerns and they might be able to give you some advice and don't worry about fitting into the dress either, I'm sure you will! Also-- what I've been using to try to fade my stretch…

This is a problem for me also. It could be either emotional or your not getting enough nutrients-- maybe try reviewing what you have set and make adjustments. Also-- what has helped for me is not keeping anything unhealthy in the house-- no temptation, out of sight out of mind. Eating two cups of chips vs. eating two cups…

At first I was huh sounds like that could possibly be a good idea-- but then I thought about the aftermath and the incessant question's I would ask and that sort of the thing and I realized.... NOPE wouldn't work.

Not even close. I was a super smart loser.

Ohh!! I love this idea-- I'm going to try it!

I'm an office manager at an Insurance Company- I plan my lunch out the day before and like someone else said only eat what I brought. I eat light during the day (just my preference) so it's usually a yogurt, string cheese, apple, and hard boiled eggs. I have some granola bars and almonds as a treat if I'm particularly…
