I'm going to assume this is an advertisement. With that being said, hopefully no one buys into this and thinks it's safe to lose 4 pounds a week. That is, of course, unless one is morbidly obese and is following a nutrition plan set forth and supervised by a medical professional.

I have read that wooden snowshoes are the best but I'm still doing research before making any final decisions. Supposedly, if you buy a quality wooden pair, they will outlast you and you can pass them on to the next generation. Additionally, they're supposedly really quiet as well.
