You need to remember to recalculate how many calories that you need every 10-20 pounds, because as we get lighter our bodies do not need as many calories to fuel them. I started at 412. The initial calorie totals that MFP gave me was over 2500, from day one I have reduced that number further for myself. I have been on MFP for a little more than 2 months. My goal is set at 200, but I would love to see 194. That would be a healthy BMI for me. Currently, I'm trying to eat under 2000 calories a day and according to information I found, I should be able to get there one day.
