Hahahaha that's the problem...me neither I had not realized how bad things were! I'm a big guy though 6'3 1/2 and wide. I can't believe that I'm still over 300 in the second picture! Couple more weeks and in the 200's forever

A lot of good stuff coming from all of you! Thank you. I am on board with the fact that it's most likely temporary water weight etc. I was just floored by my reaction. I clearly needed to just exhale have a good cry and get back to work. My wife is the best, super supportive I just know that it was scary for her. You know…

I just wanted to say that it is simply amazing what Sarauk2sf and SideSteel do for people. Taking time out of your busy lives to help people is a tremendous gift and I know I am thankful as I'm sure many others are as well. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year

Between all the stuff in @ sarauk2sf profile and heybales I have a lot of reading to do tonight. This is why I love this community. There is a good chance that the information provided here tonight will be a monumental help to a perfect stranger. That is awesome!

Any programs you can think of off the top of your head? I used to enjoy 20-30 of cardio after strong lifts but the weights have gotten real heavy for me I am just shot at the end.

Joy_Joy_ lots of great stuff there thanks

@ parkscs. Thanks man, I like to track the body fat % my goal is 18% it just sucks shelling out to get it done properly but it's worth in IMO

I am a golf pro by trade so my days are spent on my feet 12 hours a day five days a week. When I'm not doing that I'm chasing my 4 boys around and coaching. I am really appreciating all the feedback so far , the general consensus is keep lifting pay extra careful attention the food intake and mix in a little more cardio.

Ed first of all you are a superhero, been stalking you here and on your blog since I started. The calories are on point, if I'm guilty of anything it's eating less then I should, water is good and I'm not gaining just fluctuating the same few pounds. Body fat % went from 49 to 34 . I feel great and keep shrinking but just…

Oh my god!!!!! So happy for you what a beautiful family.

Don't even stress about it. I have not lost a pound ( actually I keep losing the same 10lbs) since September and I am absolutely shrinking. Get the measuring tape out and track it each month even though you will probably feel your clothes getting looser before that. The scale is great in the beginning because the weight…

You are 19 unhappy and a little scared, tough spot to be in right now with school obligations, career planning and relationships possibly. The one thing you need to do is put yourself and your well being above all other things. If you don't kiddo in the blink of an eye you will be 30 and things will have gotten even worse.…

Let me just be clear, in answering the OP question I am telling him how I feel when I see others (obese) fighting the same struggle. Not in a million years would I suggest to someone "hey I lost weight so should you" if someone I knew asked me for advice I could tell them only what has worked for me. Btw I am this guy "…

I'm not an expert but if you lowered your rep range from like 5-8 with a little heavier weight you would still be gaining or maintaining your muscle mass while you cut weight. I believe the higher rep ranges promote muscle growth. Your guns are blazing it looks awesome. As a dude and a husband we sometimes don't really…

In general I feel bad for morbidly obese/obese people even though I am obese still. I feel like I know how they feel and wish I could tell them "hey I been there and I made a change and so can you" because losing weight has changed everything about me. I went from severe depression to optimistic (with the occasional day of…

I have found the gym to be the best anti-depressant, I walked in your shoes once, my wife and kids were my jake and peanut. I owed it to them and to myself to try and save myself I found hope and inspiration on this site every day and still do thanks to people like you and many others.

Holy sh#t, I will never complain about anything again! Great job, tremendous mental toughness

Here are a few things that helped me and I am a world class procrastinator. 1. Just show up, 90% of life is just showing up. I would go to the gym with the mindset of "I may do a workout or maybe I won't but I'm gonna just show up and see what happens" result= I went to the gym 65 out of 70 days. Some days were great…
