You know, I do the same thing sometimes. I think we just get in the habit of doing this. Just try to get your mind and hands focused on something else, read a good book, do some crafting or just get on here every night and write about how you're feeling. I've been making a lot more cards these days...

You're difinately not alone! I did this just today at our July 4th family gathering. I think sometimes that we feel these holidays or family gatherings is just an excuse to eat anything we want to (My opinion only). Speaking for myself, I'll just start tomorrow off as a new day and get back to my losing weight.

I'm not even going to try to say I understand what HCG is and really have NO interest it it. I don't care what kind of hormone they inject into my body, if I'm only eating 500 calories a day, my body is in starvation mode. I can't imagine any real licensed Dr. agreeing that this is a healthy way of losing weight.

500 calories??? Your body did, or will, go into starvation mode! No wonder you were weak and shaky. You have got to eat at least 1200 calories a day to lose weight and stay healthy too. I eat 1500 daily and I feel great. My weight may be coming off more slowly, but I feel good and I know in the end that my weight will stay…

I wonder if what you're eating is making you bloated. Sometimes when I drink milk I feel this way.

I remember when my mother had to give up salt, because of her blood pressure, she lost 15 lbs in a month. Sodium can really do a number on our bodies.

Thanks everyone, your posts mean a lot to me. My layoff is, hopefully, temporary although our little company has been going down hill the last few years. We've went from 100 employees to 22.
