Saw lots of good ideas. I am thinking talking to the doctor's would be a good way to help you. Since it is a doctor's office, you would think they would want to promote being healthy. If you already have talked to them about it, what did they say? Also, protein shakes would be good in your situation. I worked in a call…

I am just the type of person that has not done things in the past due to the possibility of failure (not just losing weight), and since I have "relapsed" (I don't want to say fail) before, I am just trying to find out the best places to get support. It is one of my trouble areas. drojen, I also have the fear of breaking things when sitting and not being able to fit in rides. I do have to admit that I felt that my reason was…

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I never looked at it that way, MsSleeth. That makes a lot of sense. I guess for the time being, I am going to watch my sugar intake and look at the amount in two ways - one with and one without the gatorade sugars. It doesn't mean that I am going to max out my sugar intake after taking…

That was one of those things in the long drawn out post I touched on. I cannot drink plain salt water. It has actually made me throw up in the past.

Cool. Thank you. For me, I am more motivated by making them low and seeing how far I can surpass them.
