  • Saturday I indulged. And tracked. And regretted - not the numbers on MFP, but the fact that I felt so bloated and overly full. My birthday is today, and we went for a big weekend lunch to celebrate. Although 1.5 Root Beer Floats and 2 Sides with my lunch from Red Robin looked appealing at the time, I think I will remember…
  • I have been back for about 3 weeks after a 3 year hiatus (was doing pretty well, and then injuries and health issues happened). Feel free to add me, and anyone else on the this thread as well - a lot of my MFP friends from 3 years ago have moved on.......
  • George.....He was enjoying the Cat Days of Fall last year........

  • Found and accepted. If anyone else on the thread wants to add me too, they can! :)
  • I am back after a hiatus and multiple injuries. A lot of my friends from 3 years ago have moved on, so I am looking for some new friends as well for support and encouragement. Send me a request if you feel inclined ;)
  • Here is my link to Fitbit. Looking for pals there and on MFP. I am working on getting my step count higher after some health issues, so I am just getting back into the swing of things.......
  • Both, actually. If I just push myself too hard in general I get exhausted. If I push myself too hard physically, I am in a ton of pain. Oh, how I miss the days of my muscles being the only thing hurting from too much exercise........
  • I do take D-Mannose daily and I have been working on my diet - but it's hard since no one has the same triggers. I am also doing PT once a week (that's an experience that took me a bit to get used to) I have to get back into the gym, but the harder I press myself the worse I feel (not to mention, I haven't been fully…
  • It was a doctor that didn't believe in IC. A lot of people with IC can't hold as much in their bladder, but since I was still able to hold a large amount, he said I didn't have it (the new Urologist looked at his previous testing results and notes and said it should have been diagnosed at that time).
  • Funny you should ask that......I know, it doesn't make sense in a normal sort of way. ;) I had a piercing for 14 years. I thought that whole time it was just getting irritated and had a lot of UTIs. I was even tested for IC in 2010 and they said I didn't have it (found out I was actually misdiagnosed at THAT time). After…
  • I have it :( I am still coming to terms with it. It hasn't been a good couple of years (broken toes, then broke my leg, then had ACDF neck surgery - in which that lead to the IC diagnosis). I was on MFP a few years back, and I am hoping to get back into the swing of fitness, just going to have a couple twists now......
  • Apricot - from Kolacky Days in Montgomery, MN, please. Yummy!!
  • I think we should be friends, or continue to be friends. <3 ya girlie!!
  • Pulling up threads from the grave, but I want to give my 2 cents. Popcorn = healthy as long as you put healthy toppings on it. Popcorn = one of my fav foods Popcorn + Tummy Issues = Me very very
  • Sunday morning. After using the facilities, but before showering. I always have a cup of coffee before I weigh (gotta start with some caffeine), but since I am consistent with having that extra fluid in my body it should have much of an effect on numbers (since it effects it every week)
  • Thanks for all the responses. I did very well. I ran the entire thing. My pace was slower than when I have done Walk/Runs, but I ran it - and that itself is a win. I am very competitive with myself and I think I was afraid I would be letting myself down. I didn't though - even though it was a slower pace - I completed…
  • I think I just get nervous that I am going to forget something (already forgot my number for one of them), that I am not going to fuel myself up right and have issues (I have dehydration issues, so whether I am doing a 5K or not, it is in the back of my mind - just more prominent when I am exerting myself), and that I am…
  • I would definitely be up for a protein shake as well. Do they have ones that are premade? As you can tell, I have never really looked into this before. (But I knew I could turn to the awesome and supportive people on the forums ;) ) LOL
  • Let's hear the cheesy *sigh...Awww* and then a slight gag after what I have to say. I am with MY perfect man. We don't agree on everything, but we agree to disagree. He supports me and I support him. We communicate. We rarely fight. We have a lot of things in common, and those things that we don't have in common, we…
  • I am not down 100+ lbs, but down 50ish pounds. I started last Junish - and I do believe that I cut a plateau off before it could start. We had some personal issues with our family, and I kinda fell off the horse from Thanksgiving until 3 weeks ago. Strange enough - I only gained 3 pounds back in that time period (I…
  • One day, one moment, one breath at a time.
  • Quit looking in my windows. How did you know I had 3lb pink weights? **GASP**
  • I hadn't seen a friend in mine for about a year - when I was at my heaviest - and I posted a pic on FB as I was losing weight. She asked if it was me. I told her yes. 30 minutes later she was knocking at my door because she wanted to see it with her own eyes. It's amazing - I never stopped being her friend, but our busy…
  • From MN originally, but live in central IL now. Always looking for more support - over the holidays we had some bad things happen and I fell off the horse. Trying to get back on and need all the support I can get :)
  • Not sure how to word all of this so if it doesn't make sense, please let me know. I have been craving warm drinks this winter, just not sure which warm drinks. I used to drink cold soda, no matter the season, but now water just makes me feel colder, and warm water does NOT sound appealing. I like tea, but have to be in the…
  • Thank you!! I was actually more nervous that I wouldn't be able to give blood again than to actually give blood. LOL. I think I am going to eat at no deficit today. I have a lot going on tomorrow and I need to have as much energy as I can get. I do know I am heading to bed early tonight to help with the energy :)
  • I am 5'9" and I can relate to everyone that has posted. The BMI calculator sucks, the pounds on the scale suck, the numbers on the tape measure suck, finding clothes long enough sucks, the list goes on......but I still weigh in and measure in every week just to make sure I am still going the right way. I am not trying "to…
