I've been measuring my success a lot by standing in front of the mirror and seeing how my legs look when they are touching. I eat 1800 calories a day, and I've lost 45 pounds since February doing this. Your body needs energy to function, and 1200 calories a day is for a child. Not a grown woman. Yea, I'm currently around 159 and I told my friends I want to be around 135 ultimately. That's in the middle of a healthy BMI for my height & age, and they thought that was too skinny... but I just remind myself that if I'm going to lose weight, I am going to go all out and be where I want to be :)

Well I sort of refused to buy smaller clothes becuase I knew I was losing more weight and didn't want to waste money. I've been consistently seeing results since February! I did the Daniel Fast for spiritual reasons (you eat nothing but fruits and veg basically) and lost at on of weight and then it clicked. It's alllll about diet!

I work full time at my uni so everyone was gone this summer and now that they are back at school, everyone asks me if i lost weight and I'm just like "meh, yea it's w/e" but on the inside I'm like HECK YEAAAAAAAAAASSSSS I did :)

My diet. I was doing the Daniel Fast and lost almost 12 pounds in a month without exercise. That's when it clicked, eating clean and non processed food does wonders.
