I have insomnia and 1Tb ACV with honey in a cup of water (via straw) at night let me sleep all through the night! I did it several nights in a row and it was fantastic!! Then I started having extra digestive problems, and more research led me to conclude it is not good for people who have had their gallbladder out. I was…

I am on day 5 of no sugar! Add me! :) I have celiac disease and some other food allergies. Idk about eating "clean" per say, but I have a lot of things I have to stay away from. Sugar is a huge inflammation for me. So are dairy and eggs. Even with probiitics and kimchi and a mostly paleo diet I was having digestive…

I'm a Celiac. My uncle has crohn' s and I wish he'd go gf! I think you should start with paleo. lots of reactions to food are gone in a week so it shouldn't take long to see /feel a difference.
-
If you want to go gf, don't buy any gf products! Just eat real food!
-
I'm a Celiac too. you can quickly gain weight on gf food substitutions. I eat mainly paleo, meals are easier to cook and you don't spend a fortune on gf flours.
-
you can add me. I'm a Celiac and 90% paleo.

I thought this was going to be "easy" but I completely underestimated the travel challenges. I spent 3 weeks visiting family, eating late, and unable to plan my meals. I tried, which is what kept me from gaining too much but I'm back and basically starting over. Gotta get back in the swing of things!

Thank you! So happy to know it's not muscle loss! I'm trying to get stronger!!!

Week 1: my ticker is at 19lbs lost. So my goal would be for my ticker to show 34lbs lost at the end of this challenge. I'll edit the weight loss as it happens but not posting my weight. I mean, I know my husband could dig around if he was the snoopy type (which he isn't) but I don't want to make it easy to find out! I'd…

I'm only up to 10 minutes on the treadmill, but maybe I cold push it to 15 this month!

Hi! This is my first challenge and I'm so excited to be doing this with you! I'm struggling with a bunch of auto immune diseases and going paleo to try to counter them. I've always been curvy and people wouldn't expect me to weigh as much as I do. (I have never told my husband how much I weigh so I'm not posting that…

looks like I'm reading this 2 weeks later, have you tried one of the other plans you found? I would love some feedback!
-
I'm trying to figure out meal planning too! I do so much better with a plan! I'm looking into some of those websites that do it for you for $10/month... anyone tried one of those?

I had my gallbladder removed but that didn't fix all my symptoms. Then my gastroenterentologist said it was possible I had a hiatal hernia. So I asked my chiropractor and after the first adjustment on my abdomen, most of my pain was gone. it wouldn't hurt to research it, since you are still looking for answers.

I haven't tried making pancakes yet, but what recipe are you using?

the halter top from #3 and the black bottoms. mix and match!

I have Celiac disease and have been gluten free for 10 years. I have been a little overweight most of that time. However, I have done paleo the last month and lost 10lbs. I have lots of other food allergies too and paleo works better for me than just being gluten free. If you're trying gf for weight loss you have to be…

planning meals out in advance has really helped me. I don't go looking for food because I know what/when my next meal will be.
-
Seeing that pound gained IS motivation! I'll be extra strict for a coupld days after I noticed an increase!

I have Celiac disease so I'll never eat gluten and most of my friends on MFP are paleo or gluten free. I like having friends with similar eating styles, it gives me a lot more encouragement. We are all on different paths so I'm hanging out with people who are walking the path nearest to mine.

emeraldeyes, I can't imagine what your kids went through before being diagnosed! I've never heard of FPIES before but just looked it up. I don't think vomit is a common symptom of celiac, since I believe our reaction occurs in the intestines but I guess it's possible. (I know if I get severe pain my body will do anything…

luckily I had all the testing (bloodwork, and endoscope) before going gluten free. I would not survive having to eat gluten at this point - I have severe reaction to the tiniest crumb. Since you have to eat it, you want the results to be accurate so please eat lots of gluten! If you have a piece of Pizza Hut pizza think of…

I can't stop at just one candy! Lucky me, I'm allergic to half of the candy supply so I'm planning on only buying the sweets I can't eat. For Easter brunch I'll probably have a light salad for dinner to counter out the extras earlier in the day, but I'm not skipping it!

not sure if this reply helps, but I've never noticed a weight difference due to steroid shots in my back.

I love the idea of pocket snacks! =) half an apple or baby carrots were my first thoughts too, but I was wondering if you'd consider wearing a spibelt, you could probably fit half a sandwich in there and a little side and eat on your rr break! I don't sell them or anything, but I love mine! I use it all the time to hold my…

I'm 5'3 with shoes on! =) I just changed my settings so friends can see my food diary, you can add me too! However, I'm just figuring this diet thing out. So far I haven't been using all my calories but it's not on purpose. I have Celiac disease and fibromyalgia and trying out the paleo diet because I read it could help…

I just found out about Paleo a couple weeks ago, and I'm so excited to find a "diet" that works with so many of my food allergies! I've been gluten free over 10 years after being diagnosed with Celiac disease, and the gf diet is high in corn, potatoes, and rice which I'm also allergic to but eat anyway because I got tired…
