There is no need to use salt in the water, the amount of salt to get to the egg is non existent without over cooking the egg and the, salt adds such a tiny difference to the boiling point as to make it not worth considering. If anything its simply a myth.

try real grated imported tuscan/rome pecorino in place of the parmesan-reggiano, I think the pecorino has bolder more complex flavor imo. but I do like the idea of kale chips!

I use a treadmill for this reason, had a serious knee injury in my past and its easier on my knee with a softer even walk then on the street or sidewalk which is uneven and causes even more knee pain.
