Please, don't do this diet. I did it, about ten years ago when M. Dukan just released his book called 'Je ne sais pas maigrir' ('I don't know how to lose weight') It seemed written for me. It was not. I lost about 19lbs in 9 months. Without eating any carbs, any fat, no fruits (I mean, SERIOUSLY, NO FRUITS?!). I was dizzy…

I definitely do. Or did, at first. I wanted to be hot, get sexy clothes, everything!! That was the main goal at first. Still is, in a way. Strength, health, well being and feeling so much better came along so process and I'm so grateful about it. The goal isn't important, after all. The journey is so full of surprises!

That's not silly at all!! Now, you can feel like those cute/hot girls in movies coming out of the bathroom in a tiny towel and slippers... Great news!!!!

Actually I find this offensive. My boyfriend would in real trouble if he even tried to offer something like that.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!!!!

There is no words for how wonderful that is!!! You rock!!!

Nobody should ever ask a woman how far along she is. Like, never. Especially someone they don't know. Holy crap, would they ask a friend if she's pregnant because she seems a little bit bloated?! Hell no! If you want to ask, you wait until you know for sure someone's pregnant. Being sure means she ACTUALLY told you she's…

Don't sweat it but don't use it as an excuse to throw the following days away. I used to be the 'next monday is a perfect day to start' kind of girl. And then, Monday comes around. I wake up, take a healthy breakfast full-on motivated. At some point during the week, even the first day sometimes, I do/eat something…

I LOVE THIS!! You must have had a wonderful time!! Congrat's on your NSV. Clothes ones are the best!! You go girl!

If you consider this like a diet with an end date, you're doomed to fail at some point. That's what got me. It's a lifetime change. Moving and eating right is supposed to last forever. This way the occasionnal treat doesn't show. Neither on the scale or in the way your clothes fit.

Work in progress!! But so proud, so far!

Here's mine: Love those threads!!! So motivating!

Holy cow! I don't know what to say. I hope you're as fine as possible.

It was a sign!!! You did good!

I'm turning 33 in a month. I went down from 198lbs to 154lbs. It is possible to lose weigth in your 30's. It is possible to lose weigth anytime. GO FOR IT! Yes, our bodies are changing. What I know now is that they can change for the best. Some progress pictures in my profile, to help convince you you can do it: I've still…

Binge eating is awful. It make you feel emotionnaly and physically sick. But you can get over it. There's no 'fits them all solution' but some tricks are really helpful. First, you need to figure out what triggers you to binge. Keep a diary about what you ate, when it happened, how you felt before, during and after the…

You won't do any permanent damage. But when you go back to your regular diet after a week, you might see a bump in the scale. So don't weigh in daily. IMHO, you should keep up with your current daily calories allowance and everything will even itself smoothly. I'd personnaly starve on a 900 calories diet and would be…

It is something you can get rid of. Being here and talk about it is a great start. Seeing a counselor is the right thing to do if don't know how to get all of this under control. Keep a diary about what you eat, when, how (I mean describe the urges, the feeling before/while/after doing it) and the context. It will help you…

Something like that! At start, it was purely a matter of looking goog in sexy clothes. I didn't know how much better I would FEEL; but I welcomed it with open arms. I'll say aesthetic is the motivation and well being is the reward

I like how everyone agrees on a few things: - Fit and slim and strong is way better than the size of our boobs - it's still annoying to see them go - No problem whatsoever with buying them back!
-
I have one of those. Dissapointed guy at home. So far, it's still fine for him. But we both know that we're gonna be very happy when we buy them back!! Love that concept. I agree that being slim and fit is really really worth it!!
