im an apple. ive lost 71 pounds. not sure you could tell yet this pic doesnt show my body. i still have 54 till goal and weight around the middle LOL i dont really have another comparison picture right now at work... but my face and upper body has thinned down. my stomach too. but still an apple.

If the elliptical is too much you can always go outside and take a walk for 30 minutes. But if you keep at it, the elliptical will become easier.

well same as you i used to see "not so bad" in the mirror, i didnt know exactly how it got so bad. NOW i can see some progress, not as much as others see on me, because half the time im still seeing how much i have left to go. I've lost 71 looking for 54 more.

exactly what i do. I get a chicken breast or lean hamburger patty. season that baby up and fry IT. with a couple sides of different veggies. my favorites at the moment are spaghetti squash and this brussel sprout heaven i make. Mfp already has you in a deficit at 1450. So yes, you can eat your exercise calories and not feel guilty. However, unless you are using an HRM to get your most accurate calorie burn, you'd be best eating maybe half. Because Mfp over estimates calories burned. i guess i dont really see the problem here. I have been fat my whole life and evey time i went to the doctor for any reason i expected the doctor to tell me it was because of my weight. and they usually did. but why would you be surprised? they are doctors, thats what they are supposed to tell you.
