Yes! You can cause your electrolytes to get out of whack. It causes them to dilute...like your sodium and potassium. Also, if you are on any medications it can dilute them to the point they aren't as effective.

It is really difficult...especially if you like fresh fruit. I could never stay under...so I took it off my diary and just pay attention to carbs. I know some people say "sugar is sugar"...but I think the sugar in berries or melon are much healthier than eating something with high fructose corn syrup or refined sugar.

You continue to burn calories at a higher rate than usual even after exercising. That is one of the great things about exercising. The more you do the more you burn....even once you have stopped!!

One of the reasons you are not *losing* weight is you are probably in starvation mode from not eating enough. With your job, I imagine you burn a lot of calories working out in the sun. I count them as water. Just make sure you add the calories because some of the ones you add to bottled water have between 5 and 15 calories a piece. Watch the sodium content of them too.

I eat Boca and Morning Star Farms. There is another brand at my local grocery (Meijer) but I don't know the name off the top of my head. The only thing I don't like about them is they have a lot of sodium. I love Boca's chicken nuggets.

I saw on the show "the Doctors" that the only way to actually get rid of it is surgery. They lace the muscle back together like a shoe. The only part of the sweet potato I don't like is the fibery stringy things in the each end. I just use a fork to remove that part once its cooked.

Ok...maybe I am misunderstanding you. You want to retain water? Retaining water causes you to hold on to water weight...making you gain. Why in the world would you want to retain water? I'm at a loss as what to say. Maybe I just don't understand what it is you are asking.

It is not very likely to lose weight eating that way. You are taking in fat, cholesterol, tons of sodium...not to mention all the chemicals they add to their foods.
