'Steal' away. Mr. Bongino is right on the money.

I'm not sure that both those values aren't high. I do a combination walk/run for 3 miles and I generally burn in the area of 375 cals.

I never had trouble with Splenda/Sucralose until 2010. I started getting brutal, rip the muscle off the bone leg cramps at night. Took ages to narrow down the cause but it was the sucralose. I have to read the labels of everything I buy because it's in so many foods now. If it slips by me and I end up ingesting some...even…

Don't give up what you want most, for what you want now. If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up. Failure is not falling down, it is refusing to get back up. Every accomplishment begins with a decision to try.

Yup, still taking Tamoxifen. Doc has been wanting to switch me over to one of the aromatase inhibitors but blood counts aren't cooperating just yet. Not so sure I'm too keen on switching anyway. I've read too many stories about their side-effects. I have issues with Tamoxifen side-effects too, but at least I know what I'm…

Diagnosed in 2009 at age 46 - 130 lbs and no risk factors whatsoever. Go figure. I'm nearly 4 yrs out and back to my pre-cancer weight (gained 15 lbs during treatment). It isn't the weight issue so much for me as the amount of muscle I lost. Really hard to gain that back. A very wise man once said to me "You can't always…

I'm like you. I drink tea all day long. As the previous poster said, all you have to worry about logging is whatever you add to the tea...milk, cream, sugar. flavorings, etc.

I COULD move to another country. The thing is, I don't WANT to. I live in the United States. While there are many countries I would love to visit, there is nowhere else I'd rather live. Now if you were to ask me what state I'd like to move to, that's another story. But another country? No thanks.

My two essential items: a device that measures your daily TDEE as accurately as possible for everyday use (Body Media Link) and a device that measures your food intake again, as accurately as possible for everyday use (a food scale). Pretty much anything else I use can be fashioned in one way or another from other items or…

Homemade chocolate chip cookies. They're my kryptonite.

I'm 49 and post menopausal due to chemotherapy. Even so, I've gotten my weight back down to 130. If I can do it with the double whammy of menopause and weight gain inducing post cancer meds, so can anyone else. My biggest struggle now is strength training. Anyone can feel free to add me if they like. Never give up, never…

I had both the Fitbit One and the Bodymedia Core for a time. The Fitbit is good for tracking if your form of exercise is primarily step based. That being said, when wearing both devices and a heart rate monitor the Fitbit proved to be inaccurate even on a treadmill. It under reported my calorie burn by a good 100+…

Height: 5'6" Weight: 130 Ave. Calories Consumed over last 3 wks; 1300 - sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. If I'm hungry I eat, if I'm not I don't (or at least I try not to).

That they do. Doesn't quite fit into their agenda, does it?

You want evidence of how well gun control works? You don't need to look any further than Chicago, Illinois. They celebrated 500+ homicides in 2012. Gun control is not the answer. It doesn't stop the bad guys from having guns and killing people. It only stops law abiding citizens from having the means to protect themselves.

Amy, Here are pics of the chest strap I have and where the tabs are. There's one on each side of the strap. Yours doesn't look like this?
-
That looks like the one I have too. You may be right and it may not have one but it would be really odd if it didn't. My tab is not that easy to see, it blends into the material really well and sometimes I have trouble finding it, but it's there.
-
The chest strap you folks have doesn't come apart? I have this HRM and mine does. There's a tab that inserts into a round hole and sort of 'snaps' (for lack of a better word) into place. With mine, it's on the right hand side of the strap near the sensors.

I currently have them both. I got the Fitbit for Christmas. Not happy with the Fitbit at all. The estimations it provides are much to general for my liking. I wore it for 2 days and promptly ordered the Body Media Core. I wore them together for a few days and the Fitbit consistently over-estimated my step count by a good…

Hubby was a dear and bought me a Fitbit One (which I used for a week and am returning - ordered a Bodymedia to replace it), an Omron Fat Loss Monitor and a GymBoss Max.

That model is currently a lightning deal on Amazon - ends in 48 min but it's down to $21.29 at the moment.

There's a time limit on edits. We have that too on the site I run. You'd have to contact an admin to have it removed.

What Mr. Moron did to you was rude and immature and I understand why it upset you. I'm sure it would have bothered the majority of people if it were done to them. But the picture? I'd be VERY upset and angry if someone posted a picture of me that included my child on a public internet site. No way, no how...not my kid.…

I have the book here and finished reading it a couple of weeks ago. You can do the program at home. You'd need barbells, dumbbells, weights, a weight bench, a stability ball, and some sort of raised platform for step ups, split squats, etc. They do recommend a lat pull-down machine but give you modifications for that…

Amen brother!! Lay a hand on my daughter and there won't be anywhere you can hide.

Be a man and walk away. It is NEVER ok for a man to lay hands on a woman in anger. Regardless of what he thinks her intentions might be.

I didn't ask why, but the RD I saw the other day was quite happy when I responded 'No' to using artificial sweeteners.
-
I avoid Splenda like the plague. But I have an intolerance to it and it causes all kinds of problems for me. Because of that, I haven't ventured into using other artificial sweeteners. I use rock sugar for my tea. It's sweet enough that I only need one teaspoon, which is less than what I needed with regular sugar and/or…
