I'm interested as well. :)

I'm the exact same! No kids, but really annoying stretch marks to the right of my under the belly button pouch. Blah. They've faded with the 20+ pounds I've lost, but I'm looking forward to losing another ten and being less able to see them. They were bright pink when I was at my heaviest though and I was so self conscious…

Thursday QOTD: How do you meaure your progress? Do you only use the scale or do you measure as well? Do you have a certain outfit that you try on periodically to see the difference? I used to try on one pair of jeans. They were my goal jeans because when I started trying to lose weight in January, I could barely get them…

WEDNESDAY QOTD: We all know that women we see in magazines are airbrushed within an inch of their lives. Still doesn't make those images any less influential. Has anything in the media ever directly affected you and/or you weight loss goals either positively or negatively? Not really. It makes me really want a flat…

TUESDAY QOTD: Do you set mini-goals, with rewards? What are they, why did you pick those goals (and the fun part, the rewards!!!) I don't really set them. I tried when I first started, but I haven't been motivated by it for some reason. I think alot of it is that I don't really have anything that I REALLY want so its not…

What is the craziest thing you've ever done to break a loss plateau? I don't do anything crazy when I'm not losing weight. I've tried alli, which works but I'm not good at taking medication at specific times. I wouldn't call that crazy though. I've tried south beach like diets to try and kickstart weight loss, but I can't…

Friday QOTD: This is more to help me but what is everyones favorite low cal meal/snacks? Meal: I make my own vegetable soup that I LOVE. I throw in any vegetables I have (right now, onions, garlic, leeks, carrots, celery, potatoes), saute in a little olive oil, add low salt chicken stock, cook for about 45 minutes, use my…

Don't beat yourself up over a small loss! It's a marathon, not a sprint, even though we all wish it was. :) It'll come off eventually. It took me about 1.5 months for all of my exercising to finally make the scale move. It WILL eventually.

Looks like we're doing great this weigh-in! Arcticbear is down over 3, I'm down over 3! Wahoo! Finally the weight seems to be reflecting our choices and actions! :)
-
THURSDAY QOTD! I want us to go back and reflect on WHY we started our journeys and how we have changed (outside and inside) in the process, because every single one of us had a reason. Please try to be more specific than, "i wanted to look hot," or, "i felt fat." Reconnect with the real reasons you're doing this and feel…

Good luck with school!

i'm doing great on the challenges, though I never have an issue with getting enough water. Love it and drink a ton. I've been adding crunches, jumping jacks, squats, etc into my daily routine. I'm in the office alone this week so I've been doing them randomly thoughout the day. Kind of a nice little break anyhow. :)

Wednesday QOTD: Ladies, have you tried to lose weight before? So is this just another "one of those times" or is this different? What makes it different? What are you doing to ensure that you are not right back where you started? I have tried to lose weight before, but this isn't just "one of those times". The other times…

That's a great idea! I have IBS too! Mine's completely stress related, but I like that idea!

Doesn't make you nuts at all. We all work it in when we can. I get up at 5 to hit the gym for an hour before work. Some of my friends don't get it either. I'm really hard-core or something. I'm not, I'm just committed to working out and that's the only time I can squeeze it in. If you went after work, you'd be "normal". A…

Monday QOTD - If you could have a celebrity trainer or celebrity chef come and work with you for a month, Who would you pick and why? I'm not really sure about either, but I think maybe Bob from Biggest Loser. He seems to have a good mix of cardio and strength and flexibility.
-
Tuesday QOTD: I think we all struggle with eating well, especially when eating out. How do you deal with restaurants and get-togethers? I've just started to look at menus before I go out. Like Friday, I went to Bertucci's and I looked at the nutritional information before going out to see what my best choice was. I still…

Good morning yellow team! Although I posted a gain on Friday (stupid scale!) I've actually lost weight this weekend and I'm down to 177 from 180 last week! Wahoo! Hoping this continues and I'm going to do everything in my power to keep the weight going the right way. I'm only 3 pounds away from having a "normal" bmi and…

I gained weight on Friday and then of course, Saturday, I'm down to 177. Sigh. It's the way I seem to go. :) Hoping that my weight stays a little more consistent this week and then keeps going down! Good luck to all and good job red team!

Late on the Friday QOTD: (Whoops!) I like the style of people like Anne Hathaway and Zooey Deschenel, but I don't really emulate anyone per se. I'm not really fashion forward and can most likely be found in jeans and a t-shirt. When I do dress up though, I like classic outfits usually with A-line skirts.

QOTD Thursday: I know weight loss takes up a lot time in our lives. What are some of the hobbies or activities you like to do outside of the gym in your spare time? I hang out with friends every Tuesday night and then I like to work around the house. We bought a fixer upper and there are always things to do like paint,…

IS THERE A SONG OR MOVIE, POEM or PAINTING that has inspired you in your weight goal quest? Nope. There are songs that get me moving (Moves like Jagger, Blow by Kesha, etc), but nothing that has inspired me per se.

Impromptu Wednesday QOTD: Is there a person in your life who has inspired you to lose weight? Either someone who has lost weight themself, or someone who has developed weight related health issues? Kind of. My good college friend decided that we were going to be weight loss buddies at the New Year. We had talked about it…

You guys are awesome. I went to the gym this morning even though I'm still feeling off and while it wasn't nearly as good as it usually is, I think I feel a little better today. Still, I'm making an appointment with the doctor to make sure its not something else. I've had high blood pressure in the past (when I was 30…

My goal for the week is to get past the freak out, go to the gym for the rest of the week (including either a run during lunch today or right after work), and actually watch what I eat/drink this weekend when my hubby is home, which will include at least one weekend run.
-
I am definitely having a rough week so far. I had lost 3 pounds (finally!), but its all come back on plus one and I have no idea why. I slept through 3 alarms this morning which is weird because I love my spinning class and have found the motivation to get up for it for over a month without any difficulty. I got 10 hours…

Tuesday QOTD: How many cheat days/rest days do you allow your bodies and how would you describe your cheat days? I seem to give myself the days that my husband is home, about 2-3 weekends a month, but we walk during those days. When he's not home, I work out every day but Sunday and go for a walk on that day. My "cheat"…

I can't believe its already been 5 weeks! I was really hoping to be further along by now, but at least I can say that I'm much fitter than I was at the start of this so that's something! Definitely not going to hit my goal weight, but if I can lose another couple of pounds, I'll be a happy camper. Hope everyone has a good…

I had a fantastic weekend, but not a good logging weekend. Hubby was home (wahoo!), so it seemed like a date weekend instead of a date night. Went to an opera, ate out a couple of times, walked a bunch, but not enough to account for the wine... Oh well, this is a new week and it was worth the extra work that I'm going to…
