  • You can absolutely see a difference! Great job!! Keep it up! :)
  • Good job! The small steps are the ones that make a big difference! Giving up chips is hard. I substitute red bell pepper strips with hummus to help satisfy that crunch. I've also found that sweet potato chips taste good and are good for you!
  • Find something you love and go with it! I tried a number of different cardio exercises until I found that I love doing kickboxing. If you find something that you truly enjoy doing, it is much easier to do! I also love to lift weights. Take pictures every 30 days and record your measurements, seeing those changes will also…
  • Thank you everyone, your kind words really mean a lot! I'm always happy to help with new snack ideas, tips and tricks. Send me a friend request and I will do what I can to help!
  • Your body needs carbs, that's what gives you energy!! While I don't restrict them, I am mindful of what type of carbs I eat. Stick to whole grains, oatmeal, etc. Those are "good" carbs that are easier to burn off.
  • Way to go! You look great!

  • Hello! Good for you for jumping back on the wagon. You can do this!!! This is a great place to stay motivated. I've lost 92 lbs over the course of 3 years, so yes it can be done! Start by watching your portions and track everything you eat. Watch your sugar intake and stick to whole grains, lean protein. Try to eat 5-6…
  • I can only add pictures to my profile, as my work has photobucket, etc blocked. I've lost a total of 92 lbs since 2008!
  • You look great!!! Good job! :)
  • I'm on my second go-round of a CE and TF hybrid. I started TF first and loved it, but missed lifting weights. I switched to CE and loved the weight lifting, but felt I got a better cardio workout with TF. I guess it really depends what your goal is. If you are more into building muscle I would go with CE. If you are…
  • I'm on week 2 day 4. The first cardio interval about kills me. Two minutes in the plank position doing in/outs and mountain climbers. Ouch!!
  • W1D4 for me! My hamstrings have been hurting since day 1! I also purchased Bob Harper's Pure Burn Strength. Has anyone tried that one? I heard the 1 hour exercise is a killer, might try that one on Saturday!
  • Thanks! I have been coveting the SelectTech weights for awhile now. I've been stalking them on Amazon and just saw they have lowered to $329 with free shipping! I might have to go ahead and pull the trigger..
  • I'm in the second week of the Push phase and I love it! Another ditto for heavy weights. I prefer dumbells over resistance bands, but that's just my preference. I'm sure you would still get good results with the bands, I just like lifting free weights. As Chalene says "go heavy or go home!" I am using 25-30 lbs for my…
  • I make a really good smoothie using plain greek yogurt (Fage or Chobani 0%). 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use EAS) 2-3 tbsp plain 0% greek yogurt 1 tsp (or no more than 1 tbsp) of almond or sun butter 6 frozen banana slices 5-6 oz of water Blend and enjoy!
  • Ahem...Turbo Fire...=) I think you will love that! It's a combo of Turbo Jam with HIIT and Plyo to boot. I will be happy to send you one of my dvd's to try if you want, just let me know!
  • My favorite is sunflower butter.
  • I am currently on my 3rd week of a Turbo Fire/Chalean Extreme hybrid, and I love it. Just like the poster said above, Chalene is a great motivator/instructor. Turbo Fire is a kick a** cardio program, but it is fun! Just when you think you couldn't possibly move another step, she is right there telling you that "you aren't…
  • I have been on a turkey kick lately. Sometimes I use whole wheat bread, other times I'll use a whole wheat tortilla and will fill it with lettuce, tomato and avocado. I love the Sabras hummus individual packs (2oz each). I will cut up a cucumber and red bell pepper to go along with that. Also love sunflower butter with…
  • I am on week two and I love it! I also do Turbo Fire and have created my own hybrid program. For those of you doing CE, what size weights are you using? I would love to invest in the Selecttech 552's, but I'll have to save back for awhile. For my back and legs I'm using 15's. For shoulders I alternate 8's and 10's, same…
  • I love it and the music is great! The Fire45 class is by far my favorite, gets me moving every time!

  • I have it and love it! No matter which class I do, I'm in a full sweat within 7 minutes! I followed the calendar for a few weeks, but now I'm kinda on my own schedule, as I have incorporated strength training as well. Chalene is an awesome motivator. The music is great and the more you do it the better you get, which means…
  • Why hello there. ;) Do you have a laptop? Could you bring that with you and play the dvd's on that? When we went to Florida last year, I brought a resistance band with me instead of weights. I seriously contemplated lugging my dumbells with me, then the logical part of my brain kicked in. lol.
  • I am on week 4 of Turbo Fire and I love it! I have done Turbo Jam, but this surpasses it by far. There is a schedule that you follow, and comes with a 12 week calendar. It is a bit hard on the knees and ankles, but with the proper warm up and form, you should be ok. The music is great, Chalene is great and it makes you…
