Invest in some good shoes. I had okay, not running specific shoes and got horrible shin splints. I bought some good quality shoes and rested up for a week until the shins were feeling better started working out hard again and have had no problem. My sister had to get orthotics to help with hers. Just dance is way too much fun to think of as excercise! (its a nice bonus that it works up a sweat). Also excercising twice a day isn't bad, a lot of people break up their excercise into 2 parts. My NSV was that I ran for 30 min on the treadmill and the distance ended up being 2.5 miles. Lost 2 pounds this week! Boy was i relieved because I didn't lose any last week and I have been exercising hard and often for 2 weeks now. Clothes are fitting different, need to be measured by the trainer at anytime fitness again...good job everyone!

I am nervous about tomorrow...didn't lose anything last week even though i was very committed and ate well, excercised almost every day. My husband says "muscle weighs more than fat" I know that ....but is it too much to ask to see it go down a little?
