  • I practice 6x a week (vinyasa & power yoga). I've stayed the same weight-wise but am 2 sizes smaller than I used to be (it's taken about a year to see these results). Way more lean muscle, less arthritis pain and it's kind of cool that I can do inversions now (crow, head stands, wheel, plow, etc) at 53 that I couldn't do…

  • Leftover bimimbap w/ some corvina seabass.
  • I have Fage 0% almost every morning. I mix in blueberries, blackberries, walnuts, chopped apple, pomegranate arils, cinnamon in different combinations but always with local, raw honey. When I remember the night before, I'll mix 1/4c rolled oats (raw, not cooked), 1/4c fage, 1/4 unsweetened almond milk for a yummy muesli…
  • Bcattoes, I don't even know what 1/2 those things are! Guess I'll have to google it. Me: 23 flights of stairs today I'm unfortunately in an open secretarial bay at work so I can't do a lot of the things mentioned on this thread. We do have great gym facilities though so I do yoga on Tues & Thurs and sneak in a few minutes…

  • I started at 163, am currently at 151 and hope to be 135 ultimately. I think anything lower than that would be too skinny but it really depends on your build. I'm on the muscular side so if I went lower than 135 it wouldn't look / feel good.
  • Well, it was a good effort.
  • Perfect Food Bars! Costco carries them. http://www.perfectfoodsbar.com/ I think they taste MUCH better than the Quest Bars.
  • I never knew about this website. I'm gonna go sign up now, thanks!!
  • I have the FitBit One and love it. I wear it daily and have it sync'ed to MFP and my Samsung S4. I log my time at yoga & pilates as manual entries into MFP and the FitBit will enter an adjustment to those numbers (-/+). When you get your FitBit, I'd suggest going into your MFP settings and allowing 'negative entries' since…
  • Too funny!
  • 2nd the Paige jeans! What's important is to get a jean that has some stretch to it. I was about your size (height/weight) when I started MFP in mid July and have a pair of Paige bootcut dark wash jeans (size 31) that fit like a dream, are very slimming, and are super comfy. Even though they have some stretch, they still…
  • My sister had an injury to her big toe right before her wedding day and lost the nail. She just painted the skin. Problem solved.
  • Going to my grandson's first ever soccer game (should be pretty entertaining!) tomorrow. Paddleboarding on Sunday. Walking the dogs (my 3 + 1 that I'm dogsitting) both days. Fitting some hammock time into it somewhere (I LIVE for my hammock and a good book on the weekends!)
  • I walk with my 3 dogs almost every day. It gives me time to think, get outside into nature, and since I live in a hilly area it really is a great workout. I just wish more people would take their dogs with them as it's great exercise for the pups too!
  • I agree! Comfortable, supportive and they're not utilitarian looking!
  • I have the FitBit One and love it. Really motivates me to move more - speaking of which I'm off to walk the doggies since I'm over on my calories today & didn't go to the gym or yoga. I also like the sleep tracker on it since I'm peri menopausal and I want to figure out if there's a pattern to my sleeplessness.
  • You are such an inspiration! I'm so happy for you and hope you continue to post your progress.
  • Eucerin because its the only body lotion I've found that contains sunscreen. Works great at keeping my skin soft and smooth. It's not at all greasy. I used to use cetaphil ( still use their facial cleanser which is THE best) but it doesn't have any sun protection.
  • Seared large scallops w/ tofu pasta and an avocado oil pesto sauce. Salad on the side. Helados for dessert.
  • Stayin classy in San Diego!
  • Perfect Food bars! There's not one ingredient in them that you can't pronounce or know what it is. All natural, gluten-free, high in protein, NO GMO's! They're made here in sunny San Diego (woot woot). They are super yummy, have the consistency of cookie dough (nummy) and although they're relatively high in calories…
  • Coffeemate creamer! It's the devil's brew, I tell ya! 1 tablespoon is 35 cals. I had been using probably 3-4 tablespoons per cup (and I would have 2 cups of coffe a day! I now use just one per cup which took some getting used to but it's saving me calories that I can use for other, healthier options.
