Yes, we are all different. What works for some may not work for others. Statistics will show that Adkins is not a long term solution for most.

There are no magic pills or magic beans that are going to make you lose weight. Losing weight comes from creating a calorie deficit. Plain and simple.

I hardly ever run in the morning but when I do, I do so on an empty stomach. Otherwise, I'll cramp up. In the evenings, I will usually wait about and hour after eating my last meal.

I think you're setting yourself up for failure with Adkins. I believe in well balanced diets. Adkins is too restrictive. Most people who do it, gain whatever losses back and then some.

Yes, I eat small meals throughout the day. I'm very happy with it and am consistently losing weight.

BMI is a good starting point but body fat % is the way to go.

I'm really close to my goal weight now. The picture here is not me at my heaviest. At one time, I weighed 240lbs. I'm approximately 183 right now. I want to get down to 175-178 range.

You should be losing if you calculate TDEE -20% - http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html If I had to guess, you are not logging everything you eat or you are under estimating your calories.

I use either honey or agave syrup most of the time.

^This. Eating at TDEE -20% never leaves me hungry. In fact, I often eat for the sake of eating instead of when I'm hungry. I wouldn't have it any other way.

It really depends on the activity,the amount of weight and the workout intensity. I run a fitness bootcamp on Saturdays. One on the attendees was wearing a HRM, she burned over 800 calories in an hour doing HIIT.

Lately, I've been eating every 2 to 3 hours. Seems better this way. I don't tend to over eat or get cravings
