We make Arnold Palmers by the gallon. Make cold brew tea per directions in the pitcher, dump a crystal light lemonade packet in. Perfect!

*waves* I have horses! An older 25 year old gelding I have had since he was 5 and a younger team roping horse. I have not ridden since I had kids though! One of my plans in the future though. I would love to be friends with someone who actually eats! LOL. I have a long way to go but am aiming to eat as much possible to get…

Just finished my honey crisp apple and ounce of crunchy Virginia peanuts. All logged and accounted for... And I no longer want to chew off my own arm, LOL.

You are an amazing and strong man. I am so sorry for your loss and do not doubt for a second you will run your race in July.

I like friends with open diaries because it gives me ideas. I also feel more motivated when folks are posting their activity. I think they help me. I also make a point to leave personal comments instead of only likes because it keeps it more personal.

I put my kids in the BOB and take a walk.

Also, do not take the idea that because somebody dodged the diabetes bullet in their family that their lifestyle prevented it. It is largely genetic roulette. My dad is overweight type 2, my mom is normal weight type 2, my brother is a fit guy who became type 1 at 30. Me? I am an overweight chick who had gestational…

Incredible!

It is awesome that you are motivated. I can appreciate it. It is the same reason my profile pic is me when I started, at my heaviest. I did it for the motivation and to keep it real. You will do great with your program. I wish you the best of luck!

My current favorite is spring mix, corn, red onion, feta and Annie's Goddess dressing.

If you have thought it all through and it is worth it to you then it is perfectly fine to go forth. I would in a heartbeat if I reached your place and did not have kids. Unfortunately my friend lost her mom from a blood clot post tummy tuck. I know it was a freak thing..... But it is a risk you take when you sign up.

I am so sorry. If you can, give yourself some space without the guilt. BUT, I would keep logging if possible so that you know the choices your are making. My last time around, just before I bailed, I had a friend suggest figuring out my TDEE and allowing myself to eat to that when it was necessary. No guilt. At least that…

Awesome! I feel very similar to you! We can do this!!!

Lately my go to lunch has been Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries and Kashi Go Lean. Easy to pack in advance, the blueberries keep the yogurt cold until lunch and there is decent fiber and protein.

I use fat free half and half along with sugar free Torani syrup. I have 6 flavores of Torani with pumps for portion- the flavor combinations are endless!

While not overweight, I do have one extremely food motivated kid. He knows fruit and veggies are anytime snacks that he can always have. We always give him a balanced meal with fruit and veggies- he knows that extra servings only happen after his fruit and veggie portions are gone. But- that it is completely ok to leave…

Mostly better health. But there are the other reasons, too.... Like I want to weigh less than my husband, not give my littles my food issues, be a good role model, be fast and able enough to handle my young lab on the agility course. But... Health is my first priority. I realize this go round that the only way to fail is…

I have horrible cycles and have the Paragard copper IUD. I do notice the cycles are a tad worse, but not as bad as I feared. I am able to be off prescription meds. I just load up on ibuprofen. Have you given thought about the Mirena IUD? It has hormones and only lasts 5 years. I have quite a few friends who LOVE it.

Nothing amazing to add to the discussion. I just love that you spelled über correctly.

Whoopsie! I just looked- mine is an FT4.

I love using my Polar F4 Heart Rate Monitor. Relatively inexpensive as far as these things go, easy to set up, etc. It doesn't do distance but I use my phone and run RunKeeper for that. What the Polar is great for is keeping me in the zone for effective calorie burn and tabulating calories burned. I have been thinking…

*Waves!* Me! I have more than the 118 on my ticker... that is just round one, LOL.
