Short Term - Increase my veggie consumption, log EVERYTHING daily - including drinking all my water. Long Term - Lose 15 pounds by May 1st.

I like all of the above mentioned. The have to say that when I am feeling mellow and stuck in the house I also like to do the Leslie Sansone walking videos on YouTube. She has quite a few and my kids like to do them with me. It s a guilty pleasure I would never admit in person, LOL.

I am mom to 3 yo and 5 yo boys. Always up for more friends.

I pre log my work days then make adjustments as necessary. It really helps me get it done. Good luck! The awesome part is that you are back!

I am another with a lot to lose... I agree with all PP. Never give up, just log it and get right back to it. You CAN do this!!!!!!

My kids are 2 and 3 - their daycare is closed. I teach high school and have a week off. I am just hoping for clear weather so we can walk. They also like doing some fitness DVD's with me. It will be an adventure!

I have been doing videos with my kids - 2 and 3 year old boys. They really enjoy playing with me, even to the cheesy 80's aerobics video I did last night. When they get bored they go play for a bit, but they always come back to join in. :-)

I remember being in the dorms a lot of people had extensive stashes of food. They might have had a hard time getting out to buy food, bought when the had money to stockpile or their family loaded them up during a visit. I do not think folks will look sideways at you having extra. Heck, my second roommate had 3 tubs of food…

They will freak out when they learn that their own pancreas has exocrine functions that include the release of bicarbonate ions to help the pH of the incoming food in their small intestines. And for that matter digestion must be insanely terrible... all that HCl... damn you Hydrochloric Acid!!! *shakes fist*

My daily go to is Greek yogurt mixed with blue berries and Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Packs the Fiber/Protein punch so it sticks with me a long time, can be packed ahead for easy grabbing in the morning and is quite tasty. Win, win, win. ETA: I pack them separate and just mix when it is time to eat. (Seems self evident but I…

My favorite is spinach, grapes, feta, toasted almonds and raspberry vinaigrette!

I am a mom of two littles, working full time. I have much more to lose, but can always use more friends for motivation!

My favorite: "You don't sweat much for a fat girl." Seriously made me laugh; best backhanded compliment ever. Yes.... Fat but decently fit at the time cleaning stalls, working cows, loping horses, giving lessons and team roping.

We make all of our own sausage, but my dad buys all the bulk seasonings and we make it a family activity. (I think this might make us weird!?). I am not sure which company my pops settled on but all of their product rocks. I can find out... We typically make Italian, spicy Italian, breakfast, chorizo and bratwurst. We are…

Hot tea. Lots of hot herbal tea. I do not get extreme cravings except one week or so a month. Those weeks are horrid. Like want to gnaw off my own fists. I just keep telling myself that I control the food; it does not control me. So far it is working. When I am in a normal place I adjust things to fit what I want. And if I…

For me, I went into marriage knowing that I will make it work as long as possible. My goal is obviously forever. Now there are deal breakers for me and I would obviously divorce (abuse, financial infidelity, infidelity, etc.). Divorce isn't the devil. BUT, if something like weight gain makes you not want to be around or…

It is ok if this is a deal breaker for you. In truth, to me it means that you don't have a real solid relationship if you cannot get past this. If I was this turned off before marriage I would never consider marrying the person. Marriage is a "for life" situation and both parties have to grow around each other. That could…

Just wanted to give you props. I am not BF any more but I let my two little self wean. It is a hard job!!!
-
I understand. I have 2 little boys plus full time teaching job with oodles of extra duties. I also have been known to eat my feelings. Granted, I have a lot more to lose than you. ;-)
-
Similar position, love more friends. :-) I am definitely in the eat more to lose program this time. It makes it so much easier. Even if I lost half a pound a week that is still 26 pounds in a year!
-
I am always looking for friends. Lots to lose here!

Most of my feed motivates me. The only ones I do not find motivating are doing extremely low calories- mostly because for me it is not sustainable.

klkarlen- thanks for the link. Thanks for all the well wishes! My puppy is just beginning her journey as a competition dog. As a baby dog we have a long way to go! This weekend will be her second trial, her first she earned 3 Q's. However, she does try to visit everyone before plugging in! There is no substitute for time,…

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the opinions. I have actually not being doing agility trials at all for several years. My old dog was retired due to a spinal injury. I had 2 kids in 14 months. Then I had to wait for my puppy to grow up (training all the while) for her growth plates to close so I could finish training her.…

I have a heart rate monitor that I use when I do steady cardio, but I don't think it would really work for a show weekend because there really isn't steady. If I am pole setting I sit and sprint out to reset a bar if somebody drops it. Or at height changes. I did think about using a Fitbit. I am not going to go crazy. I…

Thanks for the reminder to take protein bars! I agree with you- people who have never shown often underestimate the amount of work involved. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab so I will be busy making sure that she is busy enough to wear the edge off! She is a pistol! This weekend will be easy because I am traveling alone.…

Scratch would rock! You should try. Life is better with Arnold around.
