Hi guys! So, as the weather gets cooler, I begin to break out my stashed away store of teas ... It got me to thinking ...

What teas are your favorites? I'm always looking for new ones to try! My current favorite is Trader Joe's Vanilla and Cinnamon Black Tea :)

Since it's snowing outside, I am drinking tea even now as I write this :yum: I love the seasonal teas ~ right now I'm drinking pumpkin spice, and as it gets closer to Christmas I love to drink Candy Cane Lane.

I recently had my first cup of Earl Grey and I've been stuck on it since. Love it with a little vanilla almond milk.

I have lots and lots of tea from David's Tea. Tons of it. Usually I like green jasmine tea, but sometimes a mulled chai or a seasonal flavoured tea is nice too.

TWG Geisha Blossom Tea. It's green tea infused with southern fruits. Delicious!

I have a lovely smoked Earl Grey. It's not as strong as the Lapsang Souchong, the smoke is much more subtle.

Another favorite is osmanthus oolong... That osmanthus flowers give a very sweet taste, much like jasmine but not as cloying.

Chrysanthemum makes a wonderful tea also.

  • I have to admit I get through about 6-8 cups of Yorkshire Tea every work day - living up to the stereotype of British Civil Servants to very hilt! My colleague is a huge fruit tea fan, but I haven't found one I like yet...

Lyon's Black Tea (Irish brand) with 1/2 tsp sugar and a splash of milk.

I've also really been enjoying fruit teas, my favourites being Twining's Four Red Fruits and a store brand mixed berry one.

Trying to have less coffee so I'm definitely bumping this thread

I make a big mug of tea and put in both Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea and either black chai tea or green tea. I'm drinking a steaming mug of green and Bengal right now. Mmm.
  • Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea. Full strength in the mornings and decaf in the afternoon. Gloriously smooth and strong.

I LOVE tea! I love trying all kinds, but my go to is my own blend made up of mostly loose leaf hibiscus with a little rosehips and cranberries with a piece of fresh ginger. I make this in a pitcher and it last for about 2 days. Sometimes I add a splash of fresh lemon to room temp. tea. So good!

I also enjoy my blend of green/oolong/dandelion citrus, but I'm getting into the seasonal blends now like peppermint etc.

Off to go warm up a cup... :)

Assam, probably drink about 12 cups day, but I am a lousy tea sucking Brit.

And then herbal teas, usually Pukka ones, such as fennel and cardamom or nettle, mint and fennel. You just have to ignore the wanky names such as 'detox' and 'cleanse'. Ugh. No detox going on, but the tea tastes nice.

Earl Grey is my favorite basic tea.

I really like lots of fruity herbal teas (peach is always good) made into iced tea, but I suppose that's off topic.

Love ginger teas--would be great hot or cold in my view. (Haven't tried a cardamom one, but it sounds amazing, will have to.)

I'm also really into these weird Yogi brand teas--Aztec Sweet Chili, Mayan Chocolate, and a Vanilla one--but I imagine not everyone would share my enthusiasm.

Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice. So yummy for this cold snap we've been having. And I just discovered that they make capsules that will work in my Keurig!

    Tea Forte's "Orchid Vanilla"
    Mighty Leaf's "Orange Dulce"
    Redrose's "Peach Cobbler"
Twinings herbal fruit teas. I get the UK ones because blackcurrant makes all berry teas taste better.

I drink a big mug of Tazo Chai every morning at work with just a little (real) sugar to bring out the flavors. I also love Darjeeling and Twinings BlackCurrent. I have a whole cupboard of different teas at home; English Breakfast (regular & decaf), Irish Breakfast, English Afternoon, Decaf Chai (Tazo and Stash), some different flavors of Republic of Tea...

I have a friend in Taiwan that sends me tea on a regular basis, but not knowing Chinese, I can't read the labels... the best translation I can get is:
    • High Mountain tea
    • Beautiful Woman tea (I'm a guy, but I haven't noticed any ill effects ;) )
    • Special tea (I'm not sure what makes it so special, but it's goooood!)
