Thanks Angela, that's great info and great recipes for any one's lunch/dinner. The easier way to cut sodium would probably to wash all canned vegetables anyway. And like a couple of people said, "healthy" sugar is good sugar.

you can always vent here, that's what we are for....besides typing angrily probably helps burn some calories.

Good luck and Congratulations to all the TTC'ers. Hope it's your month. I'm still the same, haven't lost any, but somedays I gain a pound. Gotta get down to business soon. And the girls nights out don't help either. Need to start logging more.

CONGRATULATIONS yolie! She is just adorable!! Angela, don't worry too much, you still look beautiful, you'll probably lose all those extra pounds in labor. Since you measured your starting wait on the same scale as your current weight, I wouldn't worry too much about the doc's scale. They all vary anyway. 15 lbs is…

Congratulations!!! Enjoy the last couple of days exclusively with the hubby

maybe it's a sign... I swear since I joined this group every second show on tv has to do with pregnancy or every article in a magazine says someone is preg or trying to get preg or about baby care! :ohwell: Challenge: I don't know. My hubby will be easy, his parents will be easy, my dad will be easy, I'm not sure how…

wow Angela, great tips! keep them coming! I love how you've added the previous post links too. You must have been busy all weekend typing this up. Whatever keeps your hands busy and away from the cravings right?

Angela, Shoppingqueen, Yessie -- it's so interesting to read your baby-gaga "status" updates. All 3 of you are so close together in your due dates, guess whatever month it was must have been a cold one.
-
you are doing so well with your pregnancy. And I love the new picture!
-
I think you should totally post them whenever you have time. They are so interesting to read. Does it have any pre preggo stuff? Or just after conception?
-
The little booties. I think I'll get one of each pair I can find.

Congratulation Jen! Good luck Jalara!!! Angela, keep the tips coming, they are so interesting. Looks like a lot of the stuff I like is on the list. I might actually enjoy being pregnant!!!!! To answer Tahmed, oh yea I'm totally freaked! My hubby is actually more prepared them I am. He says, he never planned to be married…

lucy - my cycles have always been irregular (even on the pill), so I'm not sure I'm the best person to answer your question, but I find that if my exercise routine changes my cycles are a little delayed, like if I'm working out a little more/less than normal. It's possible you are exerting yourself a lot more with all the…

jalara -- not sure about your clomid question. I know someone who tried for a long time and couldn't get preggo, then she started on clomid and preggo almost immediately. I'm not sure when she started on it though. I'm still on my last 7 lbs, which was last 5 about a week ago before we went out and ate out for an entire…

I sorta agree with both you and your husband. It is easier to notice a change when you haven't seen the person for a while, because the mental picture is different than the physical. But, I would agree with your husband and say that you don't get your hopes up becasue parents are a different concept than friends. A lot of…

great names! very unique! how about Lance if it's a boy? Not trying to change your mind, but it kinda rhymes with your kids names.
-
  I'm sure you are fun to watch. I guess I should answer my own challenge question.... tahmed - I totally agree with you. I like to plan things out, so it would kill me not knowing, but I really want my first born to be a boy, I'll still love a girl the same way, but I always wanted an older brother, instead…

I've got a challenge question....it may have been asked already because I haven't read all the threads But: Would you like to know the sex of your baby or be surprised?
-
looks like you are doing great!

I'm totally there with you. It seems like the best reward somehow always ends up being food. Not trying to pass judgement here, but maybe you could still reward yourself with food, but make it yourself, or pack a healthy picnic for you and the hubby...candle lights, healthy food, could lead to some excersice. As for…

This is such a cool idea. My husband and I would like to start TTC around the end of the year. Not sure if you've already discussed this in a previous post, but for those to started this year and conceived, how long did it take? I know it's different for everyone, but just curious. If you've already discussed this, if you…

I should have mentioned that I started logging everything beginning in January again. I have been maintaining a 1200 calorie diet and working out. I don't see a difference in the way my clothes fit or my muscle mass. No idea!
-
I'm on the loestrin 24 too. It's supposed to have less estrogen in it (hence the name)....I haven't had any mood swings, weight gain or anything realated to usual BC.

this is a great post. It is so important for people to understand that crash dieting doesn't work. If you want to lose a lot of weight, it's going to take time. (I didn't get that until last year either). People who come on this site and expect miracales, should know that there is no such thing. Nothing good in life ever…

Congratulations!!! :flowerforyou:

You should apply and tell them that you have 10 years experience with SQL 2008.
-
that makes sense. thanks all. :flowerforyou: I really can't work out more than 45 minutes in a day. It's not that I'm busy and I can't get it in, but I just feel totally out of breath after that time. I've done cardio and I'm trying to mix it up with strength training, but when I do strength training, I can't move my…

I try to do the treadmill or the elliptical. I burn more on the elliptical of course, but I can't run faster than a 5 on the treadmill and even that, I have to stop and start and I can barely get above 200 in thrity minutes.
-
I don't really have a lot to lose. I'm not fit, so I'm pretty much here to get that. But, I see so many people on here burning 400...600 calories everyday, and I just don't get how you do it. I can barely burn 300 without feeling like I'm going to pass out. Am I doing something wrong? I don't understand how someone who…

So, I can safely assume that 1 cup of raw rice is atleast 2 cups cooked rice, so if I did eat 1 cup of cooked rice, I would just say that. Right?
