Great job! How long did it take you? Can you share a bit of the journey?
-
Yup! Welcome back! Never give up and you will eventually get to success. You can do this!
-
Welcome! I sent you a friend request..I’m similar to you...love to receive and give support as I try to stick with this!
-
This kinda just recently happened to me (albeit it was 3 almost 4 weeks in) and I was so bummed. I decided to just stick with what I was doing for another week and then was going to cut by 150 cals per day. But after eating a well deserved indulgence of about 500 cal over my usual daily allowance the next day I seen a 5lb…

I struggle with those thoughts too..almost on a daily basis so you are definitely not alone! Venting here is great so keep doing that as I find people are so supportive here. I’m seriously just doing everything in my power to be more stubborn than that voice..because I know from experience if I just stick with it…

Congrats on the loss to both of you! Keep it up! Take some nice progress pics so you can see how far you have come throughout the process:)
-
I also find that if you schedule it in like an appt you need to keep helps (like plan where/when/what for the whole week). That way it’s already planned..you know what you are supposed to do and when..then just do..don’t think..just go..”oh..it’s time for x”! Also in times of not working out..just make sure to pay close…

I love beachbody programs...insanity is an old favourite if you like tough cardio workouts! I think they are now also on demand..worth the $$in my opinion!
-
That’s a success in my book! Keep doing that and you will reach your goal. I too passed on my planned indulgence of a bowl of chips a couple days ago..decided that I didn’t really want them and chose a healthy snack. I too felt proud that for once food didn’t control me!
-
I have the same goals..to not have to think about weight for everything that I do! Well done on the dedication!
-
I’m recently back exercising after gaining a bunch of weight back and started insanity again (as I loved it 3 yrs ago and it helped me lose 80lbs) but man do they kick my butt right now and I find myself modifying quite a bit (but I try!). Was thinking of incorporating P90x...but wondering what workouts people have done…

Oh my lord...reading your post was like I wrote it myself this morning. I find I keep repeating to myself “just stick with it” and pray that numbers will eventually drop and more importantly that my fitness and body transform. But I’m super frustrated today. I did drink lots of Clamato this weekend though so I’m almost…

Me too..back at er for almost 2 weeks. Feel free to friend me:)
-
Feel free to add me too. Third attempt for me too and I’m seriously committed right now..enough is enough and I want to stick to it!
-
Talking from an experienced yo yoer myself there...consistency and sticking with it long term is what it’s all about! (and for me it’s all about keeping the eating under control). Just DONT give up..everyday try your best to stay on your plan and weight will drop. Patience is a *kitten* but that’s what it’s all…
-
Wow...great post...I think everyone should read this and I will surely come back to re-read when I need to as a reminder to just don’t give up on being happy and healthy!
-
You simply have to decide that enough is enough and stop the behaviour as best you can and remember how good it feels when you are taking care of yourself and on track. Try and just start with not binging on junk...stop buying those chips and see if you can eat at maintenance cals for a week...then if you feel like you…
-
Impressive! May I ask how long it took you and what cal range you stuck to...how much exercise etc?
-
Absolutely loved this post. So well written and finally someone describing some details! Thank you!
-
I too struggle with this right now and it seems that I just am being stubborn with myself by saying that now is the time I said enough is enough and simply just make myself stick within my calorie goal everyday. I also keep telling myself just get through today and worry about tomorrow tomorrow. I’m also making a schedule…

I hear ya and am in exact same boat..even similar stats and it also took me a year and two months last time to drop that weight but I worked very hard and exercised tons to achieve that. I’m finding it is a bit harder to lose as fast as I did last time as I don’t have the same time to workout but am losing at a steady…

Eek..2am snacking..you must be going to bed too hungry to wake up and need to eat. Are you eating too low cal during the day? I didn’t do too bad tonight as I stuck below my cal goal but snacked on popcorn..I need to cut the salt in my diet! I feel like as days go by it’s getting harder to eat cleanly
-
Just read and now will follow this thread as I’m BIG about snacking too..always have been. When I’ve had success I taught myself to control portions and always planned for the snack..owned it, enjoyed t and logged it. That’s what I’m back doing now but I’m trying to snack on healthier snack instead of junk (I say this as…

That’s awesome! Good job! I wish they had those races near where I live..seems hard but fun!
-
Awesome job! Such a big difference already! Inspiring to keep at it so I can be where you are again. :) Do you mind me asking what cal limit you stuck to?
-
Thanks for sharing...so inspiring!
-
I’m right there with you and it’s taking everything I got not to give in and binge. (Why does it make us feel better to know others are struggling?!) but it does so thanks for posting. This is two weeks and no budge on scale and I’m only a month in! I did notice my pants were a bit more loose so I’m hanging on to that…
-
I find that I do your #2,3 and trying my best with #4. The cheat day I try not to do anymore as I found myself consuming way too many calories so now it’s more of the weekly tally sort of thing as I still allow myself some treats..but I want it to remain under control. If you are seeing success by doing all those things…

I too just got back on track after slipping..well pretty much binging for a year. I'm trying everyday to say enough is enough and I need to smarten up as time will go on and I don't want to be another 30 or 60 lbs heavier next year. I'll try to push you like I do myself. I'm simply trying to stick with it day by day.…
