I strarted with a 1200 calorie plan and dropped about 6 pounds the first month. Then my wieght loss stalled. I upped my calories by about 150-200 and have lost about a pound a week in the 8 weeks since then. My body needed the extra calories. I also eat almost all of my exercise calorie, trying to keep my net within 50-100…

I would say to just start fresh tomorrow. I looked at your diary and your total calories consumed are probably pretty close to what your maintainence level calories are. A day over once in a while shouldn't hinder weight loss.

OK....This should say If you are, not unless you are sitting.......

 I think that unless you are sitting all day and not mocing at all, you would be sedentary. By your description of what you do durign the week I would say you are moderatly active. I originally had myself as sedentary because I have a desk job but after tracking how many step I take each day, changed it to moderalty…

It is possible, but it takes time to plan your meals. Like many others my budget is stretched to the max and I only have so much for food. I have found that it helps a lot to cut way back on the amount of meat (I now am using about 1/4 the amount of meat with my dinners). I substitute beans of some sort (the dried beans…

I like to eat the babybel light cheese. Also if you like shrimp they have a lot of protein and very few calories.

If you still want to track your calories you can add them as "quick add calories" that was you don't have to search for anything in the food database. MFP will only track calories and not the carbs, fat, etc but it is a lot faster.

When I started to lose weight I needed to lose about about 50 pounds. So, I decided to reward myself for every 5 pounds lost. The rewards are something like the following: 5 pounds = new lip gloss, 10 pounds = new cookbook (one with low fat/low cal recipes; I love to cook), 15 pounds = new highlights in my hair (I…

In our office we have to do annual ergonomic checks of all of our employees to make sure their workstations fit them properly to help prevent issues like you are mentioning. Here are a few tips: Make sure the height of your chair allows your hips and knees to bend at a 90 degree angle, keep your feet flat on the floor,…

I am 36 with a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. I still need to loose about 25 pounds. You can add me if you like.

You could try snap peas -raw they are very similar to green beans. Sweet potatoes are similar in texture to regular potatoes. Also, have you tries spaghetti squash? It is sweet and the texture is very similar to spaghetti noodles (I sometimes substitue the squash for the noodles and add pasta suace = a yummy low cal…

Hi, I a mom of two also. My son is 3 and my daughter is 1. I work full time at an office and still take care of a majority of the household stuff. I get up at 5 and work out about 1/2 an hour before getting ready for work. I also take a 15 minute brisk walk on my morning and afternoon breaks (if the weather is crummy I…

I like to make my lunch as a wrap (instead of a sandwich) using La Tortilla Factory brand tortillas. They make one that has 12 grams of fiber per tortilla.

I have a major sweet tooth. I was having a really hard time and was craving sweets like crazy. So I make sure I leave enough calories that I can eat about 1/2 serving of M&Ms or jelly beans after dinner. This has helped me a lot because I am not completely cutting sweets out of my diet.

I usually have 2 "resting" days a week. Sometimes they are back to back, sometimes not, depending on my schedule. I still get in a 30 minute walk on those days, just no major workouts.

I have lost 10 pounds so far since mid-February. This site helps to make me accountable for what I eat.

I do eat back some of them (sometimes all). I very rarely however, eat back any extra fat calories. I think everyone is different and you need to find what works best and makes you feel best.

When I cook spaghetti squash it is usually 4 servings of "spaghetti."

I count it as cleaning moderate.

My situation is very similar. I have a 3 year old and an 11 month old. I have started getting up at 5:20 instead of 5:30 and doing 10 minutes of sit-ups, push-up, jumping jacks, squats just to get a few minutes in. I have also been walking on my breaks at work (about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 in the afternoon).…

I've been doing the Wii Fit Super Hula Hoop and I am slimming through my hips and by belly is getting smaller. I love my kids, but it is hard work to get back to the belly (or lack of belly) I had before them. Best of luck to you

I have been looking at foods that have more potassium. I've been trying to eat more potatoes, prunes, and pears. Also, Yoplait Ligth yogurt has a good bit of potassium as does milk. I know there are others, but these were the earsiest for me to add to my diet.

I do drink these sometimes and I do count them toward my water intake for the day.

Make sure you are weighing in at the same time of day each time. People tend to be about 2 lbs heavier in the afternoon or evening than they are in the mornings.

I find that a lot of store bought fruits and veggies have a funny taste on them because of what is sprayed on them to keep them looking pretty. Make sure you rinse them really well and that should be reduced. Also, I like to put fat free cream cheese on celery or carrots....It only has 30 calories in 2 tbsp and it makes…

I make spaghetti but instead of pasta I use spaghetti squash.
