Actually I haven't seen this question before here. Of course you log everything you, ahem, put in your mouth, provided it continues down the throat and into the stomach.

I think 0.11 is my favourite number today. Great run, Ceci!

What loratliff asked, too. Ah, my kind of reply. I never favour treating a symptom, if there is a chance to prevent the disease altogether. My runs take me over a multitude of surfaces; asphalt, sand road, trail, and more. Supposedly this is the best usually, in the long run (quite literally) at least.

Only the unique instances such as moving boxes and furniture.

Thanks to zoodocgirl, that was interesting. Perhaps not major in healthy individuals, but potentially crucial in people with various diseases. I'm no fan of sticking to one paradigm until hell freezes over. Wish I was born 100 years from now when there is much more knowledge.

I'm actually jealous when reading these updates. It is a good thing which is why I dare admit it, as my old me would have been relieved upon finding an excuse. So pissed at the icy water roads right now, had planned on running today but barely came back home with bones intact from doing errands (running them feels too bad…

Exhausted and hungry immediately sounds like you're not eating enough. How much are you supposed to eat daily for a healthy loss? How much are you eating? When during the day are you eating?

If W2D3 went well, maybe retake only one day of week 2? Welcome! I know the standard comment on MFP is to get fitted for shoes, but some people seem to think it's all right to wait a few weeks into C25K until you've eased into running a bit, found your form so to speak. Have fun at the store, buying gear is surprisingly…

How do you run? From no running to lots of running? Do you use a programme? C25K should have you avoid shin splints as much as possible, unless you overdo things on your own accord.
-
Hi, if the allergies are due to pollen, the cold season (unless you're down under? I assume "pretty cold" means Northern hemisphere) should be optimal for training. Asthma is also to be managed, if you speak to your doctor about starting to run. I'm just saying this in case you have the impression that outdoor running…

Snow and ice sure makes it more interesting. I also am struggling badly around 10-15 minutes into moving (5 min warmup walk, 5-10 min running) as every cell in my body screams for me to stop torturing them, but if I keep running, eventually everything loosens up somehow and the mental resistance decreases considerably.…

I think I would jump back into C25K, but where is the question. You have had quite a long break during which you say your cardiovascular fitness has suffered and also that muscles were hurting after your optimistic run. This makes me think winging it may not be the best idea, but starting from week 1 might be too newbie.…

Yesterday I flagged something like 30-40 posts. Might as well have deleted them instantly.

Seen this one yet? It is another one with Danny Macaskill and absolutely stunning. And the beautiful music was composed by Martyn Bennett, who passed away at 30+ due to cancer. http://youtu.be/xQ_IQS3VKjA

Thanks for sharing. And the tearing apart instead of lifting up is so boring already. This place is hypocritical in its message, as in one situation we are supposed to be perfectly semantic (like in this thread), but in the next we don't have to bother (density). Whatever.
-
Have you tried eating fewer meals, in other words more calorie-dense foods but in a smaller total volume compared to the eight small meals you're eating now? What's a small meal? Snack? Or proper meal? I would have a hard time eating a majority of green stuff and fruits if my daily amount was 3900 kcal.

Preferably something starting with Z so they sort to the bottom of the alphabet when you need to scroll through your address book.

Or text this one, he seems willing.

There's a reason why (s)he is an ex, I assume. Remember it and do something that doesn't involve your phone.

Quoting myself because this discussion is getting ridiculous. What about all the scientific facts presented every day in this forum - is it less valid when coming out of the mouth of someone who is a work in progress still. I call bullsh*t on all the judgement passed in this thread.

Not mutually exclusive.
-
So basically they followed their own advice only when they have hit maintenance? Eyeroll.
-
Hey you gotz the big buttons now. When did that happen? Congrats, I think :) Would it be possible to warn also users who flag unnecessarily?
-
Yeah, I already typed and deleted a response to the snotty first commenter.

My better pair is X-Socks. Will check those out too, but might be an online import in my case.

The link was a bit broken, should work now. Indeed, I suggested you post here, where there is much experience. Hope someone has an idea.

I have a pair of insanely expensive technical socks but they are perfect. Keep my feet warm in freezing cold weather and cool in the summer heat. Also they are left and right with no seams to cause blisters. The other pair I have was a test purchase too but slightly thinner and lighter somehow, maybe just buy testers like…

If I flag this post, can you see who did the flagging? Because how can you know for sure you will have to lock it? Maybe this is the time when things evolve differently?
-
It it because of illness earlier or simply a bad run? Sorry to hear it wasn't enjoyable.

This. But I guess many seem comfortable judging without knowing even a bit of backstory. For comparison, all the advice that is posted on these boards should be posted by people in maintenance, with perfect bodies and minds?
