Well done PoF! I am jealous of your energy level. Saw the doc yesterday and it's a no go on free weights (except for curls) but I am cleared to use machines. Plan on joining a gym this weekend. Up to 7.5 minutes on the elliptical before any hip pain (doc also says I may have limit that) and 42 push ups.

I lost 125 lbs over the last year with out any exercise. I simply cut my calories, try to get most of my calories from veggies/fruit (only eat meat 1-2 times a week) and quit drinking alcohol (ok i didnt quit but i drink far less than I use to).

Jim congratulations on the talk. A little over a year ago I had turned 40 and was over 370 lbs. Had the same talk with myself, owned up to a lot of the issues I had with food etc. Just remember if you have a bad food day there is always the next day and only you can make sure a bad day does not turn into two bad days.
