  • Thank you for posting that. I have always worked out in the mornings until recently when I started working out at night. I like it, but it can get cancelled too easily. I work a full time job and and am married with an almost 2 year old. So when I put my daughter to bed I want to work out, but if my husband wants to spend…
  • Thank you all!! That's really helpful. Hopefully my sodium will go down from here!!!
  • Yes, I think you have to change up your routine and push yourself in all areas, cardio and strength. Jillian knows what she is doing and she kicks my butt!! If I'm wrong, what's the harm? Your still losing weight, your strengthening and you are pushing your body to new levels. It's only 2 nights a week anyway, go for it!!
  • I agree with kacarter1017. Making your lunch is way better. I remember eating tons of junk food in HS! Take left overs or make an easy salad. You can also prepare things in advance for the week and freeze them until the night before and thaw them out. I'm sorry it seems to be so tough for you, but if you learn how to eat…
  • Mangos are my favorite fruit. I eat them raw. There is a large flattish pit in the middle (as you know), so stand the mango up on a cutting board, start cutting it down the middle, but off to the side a bit (so that you are cutting one large/flat side off), when you feel like you hit the seed move the knife out a little.…
  • Yay!!! Good for you!!! That is soooooooo awesome! I am so proud of you!! Nothing is impossible with God!!
  • Last week, my goal was to work out for 100 minutes and I did it for 120 minutes! I was in Newport Beach this weekend and last night I ate a whole pesto pizza to myself and a piece of red velvet cake! Oh my goodness, it was good! I can't even say it wasn't worth it, cause I enjoyed it soooo much!! I know, that's terrible,…
  • Thanks! Level 2 is harder but I like it better! It's probably because I am so sick of level 1! Haha!!
  • this looks great! thanks! I have done cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes before and it was yummy!!
  • this looks great, thanks!
  • We all have our bad days and fortunately you could eat over your goal by hundreds of calories and not gain a pound. It works both ways! If you were to eat under by 600 calories one day, you may not even lose a pound by the next day. Just don't do it on a consistent basis and you'll be fine. Also, don't beat yourself up…

  • Thank you!! I figured it was around 200 for level 2, but I have seen other people post much more!
  • sorry, not calisthenics, I put circuit training.
  • Yum! These wouldn't stay in my house either, I can guarantee that!!
  • Yay! This is a great challenge!! I'm in!! Hight: 5'4" CWt: 164 Age: 34 Goal by April 1st: 154 Longer term: 145 by May 15!! Ultimate goal: 130
  • I just started level 2 tonight, but I would still like to join the group. I have been on level 1 for a few weeks, missed maybe 4 days in between from being sick and taking a few days off. But I'm back in the game now and want to push myself.
  • I log everything. It really helps. I had a day the other day that I went over by almost 400 calories, but then was able to fit a bit of exercise in. In the beginning we are all going to have good and bad days. I am trying to learn how to eat the right things at social functions, and logging everything is helpful. I think…
  • WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!! That's awesome!!! Congrats!!
  • We all make mistakes and have bad days!! Just because you have one bad day doesn't even mean you will gain weight! The other day I ate a big ol' bowl of ice cream, and I don't even feel bad about it! It was worth every bite! But... that was the only day I went over my calorie goal since I started. Don't beat yourself up!
  • Thank you for posting! I am excited to do this challenge! I am going to do the 100 minutes of exercise! Woohoo, if we could all do that every week, think of how many lbs we could lose combined!!
  • Welcome! I just joined a few weeks ago and am absolutely addicted. The good thing is that I got a coworker into it too, and we are both becoming really good at judging how many calories are in things! It's great!
  • Thanks, that sounds great!
  • Welcome!! I was hungry all the time for the first week, so I know how tough it can be. You will learn foods you can eat more of but get less calories, like veggies and fruit. I suggest drinking lots of water. If you get hungry, have a small snack and a bottle of water, it will fill you up better!
  • Well I am supposed to be on day 9 of the shred, but got sick and haven't been able to do it for a few days. Maybe I will just start over in the next few days when I am able! But... since I started the shred (which I have only done 5 days) I have lost over an inch in my thighs and an inch in my waist!! My current…
  • Haha! I have the same problem! I have heard that eating sugar is what causes belly fat and if I were to stop eating it, it would go away. I just started this, so I don't know, but I am going to try! Unfortunately I am not a freak of nature like that and am guessing a lot of it has to do with genetics and how we all carry…
  • I'm not sure I understand your question completely, but I think you are asking if you exercise can you eat those calories back. There is a message at the bottom of the page when you finish your entry and are not eating enough calories. It will tell you that you need to eat more otherwise your body will go into starvation…
  • Would like to be a size 6-8!
  • Drink more water. I drink more water while I eat and it fills me up more. If you get hungry, drink a bottle of water and some almonds. That's what I do and it seems to work.
