Hi @RunRutheeRun  Good news... Scale came down to 61.4. Hopefully it will go back into the 60's soon Yesterday I went out with my sister and mum to see mothers day movie. I saved the calories ate at maintenance had a few of my sisters chips, burger and choc top. I will have to eat a little less today as…

How odd. My period ended 4 days ago yet my scale weight has been at the upper end of the range at 61.9. Most days I've been eating at a deficit but maybe I'm not losing because I've just been walking rather than the usual vigorous exercise. I'm not about to eat less to counter this though. At this stage I guess I'm happy…

Your welcome

I'm glad it went well. 10 min jog followed by 20 min walk. breathing a little heavy so I didn't overdo things to begin with. I had to give the jogging a try because I'm down from lack of endorphins. My mood has lifted a little now which is good news!

Ok well 1800 looks like the magic number  I'll give 1800 a go

I bruised my ribs pretty severely last subday and haven't exercised since then. I'm going to go for a longer walk today and see how I go. I might break into a bit of a jog see how my ribs cope. I've been completely sedentary the past 6 days and have eaten way over tdee so I'm really not surprised I put more weight on.
-
Ok so I've had a bit of weight creep. Some stressful and upsetting stuff in the last few months and most recently a rib injury. I have the emotional eating under control, it has been the overeating that has done the damage. Snacks after dinner. Back in January I got to 59.0 and my weight is currently 62 kg. Goal is to get…

I tell myself I'm a contracted afl footballer and need to keep my skin folds in check. I also tell myself I get paid to do my "2nd job" exercise. I was tempted and had this pyscological urge for 3 days in a row to buy an Easter egg but for all the wrong reasons (for comfort) and each time what stopped me was seeing fat…

They say that as you lose weight you have to readjust your calories and eat less to continue losing (especially when getting close to goal weight as you have less room for error). For me it's been different. Every couple of months I'd increase my calories and I'd keep losing.

Hi I'm 43 & 5 foot 2 - currently 59.2 kg I just moved back to my old job, on my feet all day, lifting stuff and I think my tdee ranges anywhere between 2500-3000 on weekdays depending on the exercise that I do at night. Running, weights, sport. I also walk to and from work sometimes. I'm wanting to lose the last couple of…

Mix it up so you are working all energy systems. One day do sprints, the next session do 400 & 800 metre interval sprints, the next long slow distance jogging, the next 2 km timed runs Id recommend you start off slowly though if you are new to running and build a solid base. 3 times a week is plenty to begin with.

It's what you do 90 % of the time that matters! Dw about it If concerned you could always eat at a 10 % defecit tomorrow to make it for it!

Is there a thread on here where people post there monthly progress tummy pics? I'd like to post 3 monthly frontal, side, bending over tummy shot and I plan to have a dexa scan every 3 months. Whos in?? We can spur each other on, even have a little healthy competition. Starting Feb 1st 2016 - Feb 1st 2017 And beyond... I'm…

90% of the time I'm eating between 1800-2100 gross calories and I've been losing 1kg (2.2lb) a month. Im currently 59.5 kg and want to lose another 2-5 kg. I'm 5'2, aged 43 I can maintain on somewhere between 2250-2500 gross weekly calories. re:eating more and hitting the gym harder, yes you could be onto something there,…

I'm a 5'2 female aged 42 and I lose eating between the range of 1800-2100! Started at 66 kg. I'm currently 59.5 kg 4 months later. I have 2-5 kg to go. You are so much taller than me at 6'3 !! and around 300 lbs! You need way more than 1200-1500 !! That would put you at something like 50 % or more defecit. That's just…

I'm into egg whites too in a big way! I eat around 4 or 5 egg whites and 1 or 2 eggs as a snack. Very filling! Another favourite is egg whites (from the carton) mixed with milk which fills me right up. Fill it half way and it frofhs all the way to the top. I'm into avocados in a big way too, mixed with salad,…

ninerbuff ... I dont think she is in a stall as she states she has noticed improvements which means she has lost fat! I'd say the water weight is masking the fat loss that has occurred. it's just that the scale has not moved. The scale is always the last to move. It will sooner or later. I can remember one time I got…

Hmmmm maybe I should get a fitbit. I'd be curious to see just how much I burn during my 2 hour footy training session. It would be nice to know just how much I'm burning each day, though I'd get a little worried id get a bit obssesed and get carried away and overtrain

The scale is always the last to show the hard work you are putting in! Keep doing what you are doing and the scale will go down. Trust me! Haha I have a lot of experience. You just have to have patience and belief. I only lose on the scale every 4 weeks. I get frustrated too when it takes forever for the scale to move.…

@ChristineE63 Here's the topic I was talkin about. There's a couple of photos of me. I'll have to come back later and post an update. I have to head off to work soon and haven't got the time right now
