One hell of a success story. Simply awesome.

I usually only stare at people to make up short little life stories about them in my head. Then I proceed to judge them on those make believe life choices they made. No biggie, got to entertain yourself somehow between sets.

Congrats man. Looks like that little one really needs you around and you are making the right changes so you can be.

Great job Kelcie. Personally, I love my sugar but I can always respect someone who makes a conscious choice to takes steps in the direction they feel is best for them despite it not being an easy road. I don't expect you will but don't let the attention seekers distract you from your own success thread. Others horrible…

You will be just fine. Sign up for it now and use that as motivation along your way because you know the race date is not changing. I've never done a color run but have seen several. I believe there are actually more walkers than runners in those things so don't stress, just get to work.

Because you are somehow a 3rd year neuroscience major at age 19??

Nice work

Just tried to silently creep.....no luck

False TNP still has the full "space jams" cd stashed away somewhere and has perfected their own rendition of "I believe I can fly"

I'll join with good intentions knowing full well me and water do not belong together....unless there is a raft and a cold beer.

15-22% looks perfect to me at a glance. People are never perfect for more than just a glance though regardless of bf%

My 16 and 18 mile training runs were COMPLETE total crap. I even came here to whine about them because I ended up walking just trying to make it back so I could go home. My next runs were awesome though. My longest was 24 before the taper and it was amazing. I ended up dropping my pace by 15 seconds but it made a smooth…

I also have a daily rockstar habit.....sometimes a night habit if you slip a bit of southern comfort in there. Let me know how this goes for you. I need to stop drinking this crap as well, But damn, my local gas station I pass on the way to work has it on ice every morning. I may never be free :(

What she is doing is not a 3 day split. Also, everyone is a newbie to clean and jerks at one point regardless of how experienced you are. I think it is awesome she is doing them.

Personally I think you are doing far too much and hit diminishing returns with whichever lifts you are doing on the tailend of your workouts. If it were me and I were dead set on that schedule then I would limit it to around 6 or 7 lifts per workout and keep your main lifts as separated as possible while rotating in…

105 days cold turkey nicotine free. Don't give up just smoking, get nicotine COMPLETELY out your system. Everyone thinks it is just the smoke and additives that are bad. Nicotine can take a pretty hefty toll on your body even without the smoke and additives. This site really helped me. Whenever I was feeling weak I would…

I believe it is common rule that ideal cadence for most runners is over 90. As for the why, there are plenty of good reads out there for you with a quick search.

I like to pretend that they do but they don't. If I run with my shirt off then they usually just advert their eyes to avoid being blinded by my paleness.

making me smile, thank you sweetness

.....but I think I would look more sophisticated with grey hair when it happens.

Before the beachbody coaches take over this thread... It is better to do whatever you will stick to doing. If you find repeat zen type moments out on a run then run. It may be your thing and you never knew it. If you like the challenge of some people trying to motivate you to do up downs on your TV then by all means do…

I accidentally clocked a 6:20 and 6:45 back to back on 5 mile training run because some old guy passed me and it made me mad (just one of those days). The rest of the run I spent in the upper 8's cussing myself for doing that as he drifted further and further away while my calves and lungs were on fire. That is why I love…

Just a quick note about your reduced fat preference. More often than not reduced fat products will have higher sodium content which can lead to your body holding on to more water weight. Just some food for thought and congrats on your loss.

Your 5k time will end up much faster once you can reach 10k. win win.
