  • Total 0% Greek yoghurt and strawberries are my go to when I need something sweet! Sometimes with honey if I can squeeze it into my calories). Chocolate wise, I either let myself have a small square or I have a lower calorie chocolate cereal bar, but these can be quite high in sugar
  • I'm 5'9 and have a similar problem, most of my friends are much smaller than me!! 1) How much do you weigh at the moment? 152lbs 2) How much would you like to weigh? 145lbs is the first GW I set myself but I'm honestly not too bothered about weight number, I just want to lose body fat and thought this weight was a good…
  • Belly and arms are big problems for me!!!
  • After dinner/nighttime! For YEARS, I'd eat whatever I could get my hands on after dinner, puddings, chocolate, cake, sweets, biscuits. Still have a super sweet tooth and have slipped on occasion, but coming as far as I have is progress enough for me!
  • Aim to do a weights/bodyweight circuit for 40 mins 3x a week. Would love to say I ran for 40 mins 3x a week too, but usually only make it out twice!
  • My biggest NSV of late is that I can finally do proper push up's - no longer on my knees! (I may only be able to do 10 before crying but hey, lol)
  • I wouldn't say I give myself a 'pass' food-wise. I usually get tired much more easily during the week so ease up on the workouts a little. If I fancied anything during that time it would be chocolate, and if I am feeling low then I usually have a hot chocolate to keep the craving at bay!
  • Definitely potatoes for me!! Used to log as just a medium generic baked potato but once I started weighing them they increased by 200+ calories!!
  • If I don't eat before exercising early in the morning, I get very lethargic and my workout suffers. I have a small banana and tablespoon of Greek yoghurt half an hour before and it works well for me!!
  • I was in a similar situation for months, didn't lose a pound! How I overcame it, which admittedly isn't for everyone, is I let go of my diet and exercise regime for a few weeks, then completely overhauled my workout, changing nearly all of my cardio and weight exercises then lost 4lbs in two weeks!
  • 5ft9 SW: 195lb size 16 (the occasional 14) CW: 160lb size 12 (and the odd 10!) GW: 150lb
  • I completely understand this as I am exactly the same. After dinner I cannot stop thinking about having chocolate as I have a ridiculously sweet tooth and more often than I'd like I give in. I know you say you work late into the night, but if at all possible (perhaps by working in the morning?) go to sleep early. This is…
  • I'd say its more for increased self-esteem and confidence rather than vanity.
