Just an update- I've been several lbs below my goal weight now for almost three months. Goal weight had been 147, and for the past 90 days (depending on what I eat) I've ranged from 140 to 144. I'm happy with where I am now, how my clothes fit and how I feel. I'm just about done with Transition and more or less considering…

After a lifetime of drinking it with a lot of milk and sugar, I switched to drinking my coffee black. It took about a week to get used to the taste, which I find funny because now I love the taste and can't imagine adding all that crap to it anymore! :)

5'5 here; I started out at 252 and am down 2 1/2 years later to 140. 147 had been my goal, but when I saw what it looked like on me I decided another 5-10 lbs needed to go.

I work from home, I get up early so I can get 45 minutes of cardio and a few reps of weights done before I start work; I finish up with 15 minutes more of cardio on my lunch break and the rest of my reps on my afternoon breaks.

I freakin LOVED Outland, so I am really excited about this one, too! BC was my favorite Xpac and I've got high hopes for this next one.

I maintained my goal weight for 2 weeks successfully and decided I want to lose a little more. Still have a bit too much fat/flab on the belly, arms and thighs for my own comfort and satisfaction when I look in the mirror. I've been going by BMI to guide me to what my "Goal Weight" should be and now thinking more in terms…

Yes, those choice have me worried, too. For the longest time, my decisions were easy ones, and I also had the option if I was out with friends of just saying, "No, I can't eat that." Now I'll have to change that to "I don't want to eat that"- when I may really and truly want to eat it, and lots of it! I am going away this…

Have fun! I've been playing since Vanilla, and am still finding new things to do and enjoy. A good guild can help a lot; if you've got friends who play, start your own guild! Wowhead is an invaluable resource. Add-ons and mods can be a lot of fun too- best ones I've found are over on Curse gaming's site.

Well damn, let's make it more active! I check in on MFP daily and will make a point of coming over here to check for new stuff/post. :)

Going to NJ Pride tomorrow in Asbury Park and Philadelphia Pride a week later. Would love to go to NYC as well at the end of the month, but haven't been able to convince any friends to go with me, and not feeling like going alone.

Going back tonight to see it a second time!

It was great at first, nice to see that people noticed the results of my hard work. Lately, though, it's been more uncomfortable. I am ten pounds from goal (down almost 100 lbs in 2 1/2 years, 72 lbs since last fall) and I've started to have people tell me, "Oh, you're getting too thin, you need to stop losing weight!" "If…

Black, with a little ice to cool it to a drinkable temperature. I used to drink it with a ton of cream and sugar, until about 2 years ago. I'd finally decided to get serious about my weight and health, and in the same day switched to drinking black coffee and cut out soda completely. Cold turkey. Somehow, I managed not to…

Medifast has a transition period where you gradually add your favorite foods back, in moderation, once you've reached your goal weight. For some of us, we need the structure of a program like Medifast to reach that goal weight. Congratulations on hitting the two week mark! I can tell you, you're through the roughest part.…

I came out initially when I was 10 years old. The reaction I got from my mother sent me fleeing back into the closet until I was 45. I finally decided I was tired of living a lie and if people couldn't handle the truth then it was their problem, not mine. So I officially came out to family and friends as trans and gay in…

Sure. I'd do my best to support and encourage them if they wanted to work on weight loss, not because of appearances but for health issues. I'm a nurse, so health is always near the front of my mind. But ultimately, personalities are still there when you turn out the lights. I'd be happier with someone who's carrying…

Just came back to MFP, was here when I was working on losing weight pre-top surgery and now that I'm recovered and getting back into working out and losing more weight, figured I'd come on back. I've been using Medifast on and off for the past 2 years. Have done really well with it; lost 30 lbs preop and now have lost…

Hey Keagan, Congrats on scheduling top surgery! Getting into shape for that was what finally got me motivated to lose weight and start exercising. I'm FTM as well, 46 years old and 10 months on T, and yeah I gained a bit of weight too when I first started, my appetite was insane. What helped me get motivated was also…

I have had a lot of success with Medifast. About 2 years ago, I went on it for 7 months and dropped over 50 lbs. Went off it due to moving back east and being back around friends and family (Hooray for mom's cooking, decent pizza and diners!) and gained about half of it back. Went back on it 9/1/14 and since that time I am…
