Good luck! I know you can do it.

OMG, you look amazing! You can really tell a difference! Keep up the good work. I hit the big 3-Oh today, too. It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it?

The eternal question. Seriously, I think this was one of the riddles the Sphinx asked Oedipus.

I'm slowly training for one. I completed my first 5k back in April using the C25K program--it was super exciting. Since then I've been using a Bridge to 10K program on my phone, but I haven't been super focused.... I'm going out of town for three weeks in June and I know it's going to throw me off, so I'm really going to…

Thanks!

Finished my first 5K about a month and a half ago and now I'm slowly working my way up to a 10k. I've kind of been distracted lately, but I'm going to get back at it any day now!

Ironically, my pet peeve is people using the two words "a" and "lot" as one word. AKA, alot. ^.^

That's my goal size. ^.^ Enjoy!

Have to wait till I get home, but it has to be the one, the classic, the ultimate ---- "Hey Ya!" by OutKast. I'ma shake it like a polaroid picture!

One of my first weeks on here I decided to (just for a week!) drink nothing but water. It was really hard for me (I was a soft-drink junkie) but I convinced myself to keep at it because it was just for a week. At first I was counting down the days, but by the end of the week I was so used to drinking just water that I…

Posted this link a while back--it's an article about exactly this problem. Hope it helps! http://www.active.com/nutrition/Articles/6-Nutrition-Tips-to-Avoid-Stomach-Pain.htm

I threatened the Easter Bunny with a shotgun when he came by my house, so fortunately I haven't had too much of a problem with this.

Thanks, guys! Great tips.

I love the hundred calorie packs. I don't have to worry about rationing myself because it's already done for me and there's plenty of chocolate to make you feel like you've really had a treat and aren't denying yourself.

My first is to not go over on calories on the weekend -- I weigh on Friday and tend to relax my standards on Sat. and Sun. and then get back to it Monday. I know those extra calories have to add up. My second is to actually do the 100 push up challenge every day. I've been woefully under committed to this for some reason.…

Haha--love the third one. I probably need to add that...

Fun stuff! Let's get started!

done!

If I let myself weigh every time I felt like it, I'd probably be weighing more than that. Just know that your body fluctuates for a million different reasons throughout the day and that the only idea you're going to get a real feel of your weight loss is if you pick a specific time and only count that weight. The best idea…

Not silly at all! I have a similar one -- that I can wear shorts now and they don't ride up when I walk. It's a big deal. ^.^ Keep up the good work!
-
Good luck! Be sure to post how it went!

Bump! Sorry, can't help you--the farthest I've ever raced was a 5K. But I'd love to run a 1/2 marathon, so I'm interested to see what people say. Good questions!

Yeah, there's some conflicting information out there. If you can get it from the source (like the McDonald's website) it's better.

lol -- wow! That would have been a wedding moment to remember! Congrats on the progress!

Try mixing things up: change your exercise routine, add exercises you haven't been doing, switch up the food you're eating and track everything as closely as you can--- good luck!
