Drink lots of water! It really does help. I came back from a vacation 5 lbs heavier and most of it was gone by the next day.

For some reason, the people around me have no sympathy when I complain about having to buy four wardrobes in eight months, lol. Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Pretty sure it's because eating has cranked up your metabolism (which is the reason to eat breakfast in the first place). Maybe you could try arranging your calories for the day so that you can eat something small in the morning and then another little snack at mid-morning, so you don't feel…

Like johnny_k said, make sure you don't start off too fast! It's really tempting to try and match pace with the people around you, but it messes up your endurance later. Just stick with the pace you've trained at, and enjoy the race! Even if you end up walking some of it, you've still got a great accomplishment to be proud…

This is a huge point of contention on MFP -- use the search tab to search "should I eat my exercise calories" and you'll find a wealth of discussion about this topic. Personally, I say YES! Eat your exercise calories! Maybe not all of them all the time, but your body needs fuel to go and if you're exercising it needs MORE…

I'd say go through and pick out the stuff your favorites and throw the rest away. Then use your exercise calories to eat what you've chosen.

I feel like I did pretty well this week! I couldn't work out every day, but the days I did are pretty solid. Here's my numbers: Mon: 1045 Tues: 0 Wed: 781 Thurs: 0 Fri: 0 Sat: 668 Total: 2494 And part of the calories from Saturday are for finishing my second official 5K in half an hour--the time I wanted!

Okay, my numbers are late and frankly embarrassing compared to everyone else, but it was the best I could do. I'll do WAY more this week. I only burned 480 calories all week.... sigh.

I'd probably book before hand if you have a specific window of time you need to go, just so you can be sure that time slot doesn't fill up. They're doing a bunch of Halloween themed stuff, so it's probably going to be pretty busy.

--oh, and take a camera! They have tons and tons of original props (from the original and new series) that you can take pictures of / with. The interactive stuff is amazing, and you're all bunched up in a group so no one will even be able to tell if you're there on your own.
