I just figured out what we're having for dinner tomorrow! We have an abundance of zucchini and tomatoes from the garden so this is PERFECT! Thanks for the great idea :)

Thank you for sharing this! I can't wait to make them! Has anyone tried doing half oats and half flax? I'm thinking of using stevia too...hopefully that won't ruin the texture.

Thank you for this! I can't wait to try it! Btw, def. going for the ginger snap one first ;)

Yes! I just found those in the store too! They are perfect! We got the Cookies and Creme ones which are 15 calories each and the Butterfinger ones are somewhere around 23 calories each. Perfect way to fulfill my sweet tooth and not kill my calories :)

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions. I think I will lower my protein to 20% (which will be much more attainable) and use all the great ideas mentioned here to reach that. Any suggestions on what to set fat and carbs to now? I always end up having very high carb numbers, but a lot of my carb come from fruits and…

Bump, loads of great ideas here :)

Well it seems that protein powders/shakes may be just the thing to get closer to my protein goal. Do you eat/drink them as a meal replacement, with meals or as snacks?

I never even thought of adding beans to a salad. That's easy enough! Thanks

I've been reading the boards a lot and used a few TDEE calculators. A few mentions eating as many grams of protein for every pound you weigh. Currently I have my protein set at 40% with Carbs and Fat both set at 30%

I didn't know the Kashi cereals were high in protein...That would be an easy way to up my intake!

Oh and it seems I will be looking into some of the protein powders/shakes mentioned here. Vega seems popular. Thanks :)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I don't eat any quinoa. Tried it once, didn't really care for it. Perhaps it's worth another try? I don't drink cow milk (I LOVE almond milk) but I do eat dairy products so I'll up those a bit. I've seen Quorn in the stores, but haven't tried it yet. Normally I eat Boca or Morningstar.…

I've been a little wary about protein shakes. I don't know much about them but I'm concerned about all the ingredients I see in some of them. Any good vegan protein powder/shake suggestions?

So I'm thinking it would be best to calculate my TDEE using the 'no exercise/desk job' option and eating back the calories I actually expend in my workouts. I don't know how much exercise it calculates for '3 days a week'

Okay, according to this site: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ my BMR is 1627 my TDEE is 2237 I've been eating 1200 calories for a few weeks now so more than 1600 is going to feel like a lot. Since I put in that my exercise level is 3 times a week, should I not record 3 exercises (and eat back those calories)? Thanks to…

I went to http://www.bmrcalculator.org/ and it says that my BMR is 1627. Would I still lose weight if I ate that much?!

I've only been on MFP for a few weeks now. Since then, I've gotten so much better at eating reasonable portion sizes. I've also gotten a heart rate monitor which is so motivating. I actually want to do my exercises now so I can have my wine :) I measure my food now (and just ordered a food scale so I can be more accurate)…
