Well done

You haven't gained 6lbs of fat overnight, its very likely a temporary fluid gain due to one or more reasons...hormones, fluid retention due to dehydration, too much sodium in what you consumed the day prior...etc etc. 21lbs in three weeks is a lot of weight loss, well above the average unless you are significantly…

Wow, so very well done!!!

I zapped one earlier, but didn't see anymore, someone must have gotten to them before me

Have you had any counselling? It may be something you would benefit from for the grief and PTSD.

Best time for me, and possibly most, is first thing in the morning after waking up and after going to the toilet. You can take any number you choose, I tend to only weigh the once. If you are weighing daily its not that big a difference as weight fluctuates daily anyway. When weighing daily, its the long term trend that is…

If you fill in your myfitnesspal profile it will calculate the daily allowance for you. https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

Wow where did you dig up a thread that hadn't had any posts for 4.5 years?

You do not have to pay to use mfp, there is free and premium, premium being the paid version.

Well done!

Not super slow at all at your low weight. You need to reset your expectations.
-
How much of a daily deficit and are you eating any of your exercise calories back?
-
Binge eating is a whole different scenario and would have helpful to be to included in your original post. Regardless of what you read here - including my own earlier post, I hope you follow the guidelines set by your mental health care team.

Going with your example, is it just one ice cream occasionally? Or do you not stop until you've finished the container or the whole packet? If its the occasional ice cream go with moderation and fit it into your daily calorie allowance. Some people can moderate well, others cannot (I don't moderate well at all). Some…

15kilos in three months is a big ask particularly at your current weight. A good aim is about 1% of your weight each week (so as your weight reduces so does your weekly goal). Hope it all goes well for you.

The post below has a number of excellent threads that may be useful to you, if not, are you measuring and weighing everything so that your calorie tracking is fairly accurate? https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10300331/most-helpful-posts-getting-started-must-reads#latest

What is your height and current weight? What is your goal weight? How much weight did you lose in the year? How many calories are you eating? Do you exercise at all? Do you measure / weigh everything before consuming?
-
Are you talking about a group game or some game in the chit chat forum?

Take yourself for a short walk instead, grab a glass of water instead of the snacks. If the snacks are in your line of sight, see if they can be moved where you can't see them. If boredom strikes see if your colleagues need a hand with anything. For stress, go for a short walk. See what you can do to minimise the…

How tall are you and what do you weigh? If you haven't got too much weight to lose, you may have lost to0much fluid in the first week and your body could be rehydrating the second. But really without knowing height and weight, daily calorie allowance vs what you are actually eating we won't be able to say what is happening.

How tall are you and what do you weigh? What exercise are you doing?
-
Doesn't it really depend on who/what is promoting weight loss and how it is being promoting by them?
-
Warning - necro thread revival :)
-
Does it really matter if you have pinpointed the reasons and as long as the long term trend is down? If you don't like the weekly Monday weigh ins, make them monthly instead or do a weekly Friday morning weigh instead

Complex carbs are pretty good for you. Others should be occasional foods. If you are reducing carbs you need to up your fat and/or protein content to get your calories. Low carb or keto followers will tell you carbs are not so good for you, others will tell you they are fine. Find a balance that works for you, and if that…

Commitment as opposed to motivation worked for me. Motivation is like an emotion it peaks and troughs. Commitment to goals and plans kept me going when motivation was very low. Motivation may get you started but it is commitment to yourself and health that will keep you going.

That is a great weight loss. I imagine if you took a photo today and compared it with a photo from when you were 344lb that you would see lots of differences. If there isn't much difference it means you have lost a lot of fat from around your organs and you must be feeling healthier. Clothing can be difficult, when I was…

Sorry to hear that you are battling cancer and its great that the prognosis is positive. When my father was through chemo/radiation he just ate pretty much what he could stomach, and that was mostly bacon sandwiches (or if from the UK bacon butties). Occasionally he could stomach custard. If its taste buds that is the…
