The amount of calories (or lack thereof) that many people on here consume just astounds me. With the right type of training and diet, people can greatly raise their calories from 1200-1500, the traditional range for weight loss. As a trainer, I've seen firsthand what eating a proper amount can do. For reference, I can…

Low calorie posters get more support on MFP than high calorie ones, just an observation. OP, triple your intake and hit the weights before you ruin your adrenals.
-
I must be the exception to the rule, then.
-
If you look at all the users who agreed or supported OP, they are most likely unfit and or overweight. Anomaly.
-
The only word of reason in this entire post.

I highly suspect the macros are incorrect. Overrated, anyway. I was offered a sponsorship and turned it down stat. My gf can't have one without getting shaky and hungry an hour later-something about the sugar alcohols mess with blood sugar.

Agreed. Anyone supporting this is lacks a basic understanding of nutrition. I'm the same height, and I would legitimately waste away. 3000 calories is my maintenance, if I'm not lifting very much or getting enough sleep.
-
This is such *kitten*. How is 1200 calories ever acceptable? MFP you continue to amaze me.
-
Correlation does equal causation in this case. People who notice everything else aren't working out hard enough to get results. Lol.
-
I don't have any observations to list...you know why? I actually work out while I"m there. Edit: nothing more unappealing than insecurity manifesting itself in the form of pettiness.

Average as in...you don't have enough muscle to be clinically overweight while having a single digit body fat. For men at least. If the BMI scale says you're fat, and you're body fat percentage says you're fat, you are average, and not the exception to the norm.
-
For me, it is. I was overweight and excuse my french, sexy as fuark. Softened up a bit, because I didn't feel the need to look the the terminator while not competing. For most of the population, no. It's a perfectly acceptable standard for the average person with a normal amount of muscle mass.

LOL'ing so hard at this thread. I've missed the ridiculousness/pent up sexual tension/desperation that is MFP.
-
Like everyone will probably say, quest bars. Tried them all because my friends at Quest sent me boxes to try. All of the nutritional stats are solid and they taste great (microwaved only, in my opinion.) Cookie dough and Double chocolate chunk quest bar FTW...not a fan of the new cookies and cream ones.

Add hershey syrup on top and I'm in

Meh blurry pictures make people fat? I'd say lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle definitely add to it. We eat more and move less. Not that complicated
-
You have issues that go beyond squatting and your *kitten*.
-
Yeah, most people don't need to be worried about that.
-
lol'd. We have scientific proof of this.
-
Cheers to that...I need to learn whatever language it is they speak on Venus
-
Brah you be all hyped up, that's what happens with all that tren-ning and clen eating. And t3-ing.

True...strong nature v. nurture debate within this.
-
I believe you and I are getting along just fine  Let's not worry ourselves with insignificant details

Ah well my sincerest apologies for offending you with my brash statements and sweeping generalizations. Please feel free to further play the victim card and take the slightest statement as an insult, it's quite attractive and compelling ;)
