You should lift whether your cutting or bulking. The difference is you may only maintain and may even lose strength while cutting (unless you are a noob to lifting) You're body needs to be in a calorie surplus to gain muscle.

as long as you don't have condishuns and can handle your sugahs. For weight loss eat anything you want while maintaining a deficit. If you want to be/feel healthy eat a balanced diet while maintaining a deficit.

You're not gonna look jacked and have abs after 1 cut. It takes cycles of cutting and bulking. You can't gain muscle in a deficit.

At first you'd gain a little bit due to water and glycogen. That being said that is the point of maintenance calories, to maintain. Why would you gain eating at maintenance, If you gain eating 'maintenance' calories then you are actually eating at a surplus not maintaining.

If you have muscle to begin with sure, when you cut they will be more define as long as you maintain your strength and get ample protein. You may have to do a few bulk-cut cycles to really look impressive.

You can't gain muscle while on a calorie deficit. You can get fat from anything if your calories are over maintenance.

No i haven't and I don't believe it. A calorie deficit will always cause weight loss.
