Me too! A month or more, maybe they are not serious about this journey and have given up. A few days or whatever then maybe they are on holiday or working away etc so I give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm off on holiday in 3 weeks time for 10 days, hope I don't get deleted and come back to no friends!!! It is too…

I count a half pint as 1 glass. I try dto drink lots during the day at work - even if it just means sipping it regularly. Drink more especially after exercising so you don't get dehydrated. I believe drinking lots of fluids helps with your weight loss, it flushes everything through. Doesn't have to be just water, you can…

A small glass of wine - approx 250mls is between 75 and 90 cals. Spirits might be better at approx 50 cals for vodka, gin, rum, brandy and whiskey, Bacardi is more at 56 and southern comfort is 81! You would also need to add a low cal/slimline type mixer. Enjoy your birthday! :drinker:

Hi I'm in north Lincs. I have a designated weigh in day at home each week and then record the details on here. Sometimes I get weighed half way through the week too as it helps to motivate me more. I have a lot of weight to lose too and have found this site to be very helpful, friendly and inspirational. Feel free to add…

I also like stuffed field mushrooms and have one with red onion, garlic vegetarian mince, canned chopped tomatoes and mint. When cooked, top with a little low fat greek yogurt. This works out at only 68 cals per stuffed mushroom. Serve with salad or green veg. You could use the same recipe for peppers. I'm not a vegitarian…

Hi there, I'm sure you will get back on track again :0) When working :- I often have cereal for breakfast - Special K creamy berry bliss. sometimes fruit like a banana for energy. You could always have a slimfast shake or similar for quickness if you don't have time to prepare or eat anything else. If so snack on 25g of…

It;s so easy to believe that we are not as big as other people see us. I have felt exactly the same. You will be looking good each day and week that you lose the weight, I started at a similiar weight o you and having lost 14 lbs so far, I feel so much better inside and out. I know I must be looking better as my clothes…

Start again tomorrow by having a healthy breakfast and doing some exercise - even if it's only a 30 min walk. Think about all the reasons you want to lose weight and how that will make you feel. We all have bad days Good Luck!

I think it's good to do both. I weigh in once a week and measure once every 2 weeks. Also you could take pictures of yourself at stages and try on clothes that are currently tight or too small to help gauge the weight loss.
