yes. I lost 30 pounds with walking 30 - 45 min a day being the majority of my exercise. The only other thing I did was use hand weights for 10 or 15 minutes while watching television at night. You can do this.

my doctor wanted to do the same thing. I refused. Then I lost 20 pounds and my cholesterol went down to 189.
