  • Nothing is more depressing than working my *kitten* off for 30 minutes and only burning 100 cals. I'm having the same issue. I'm hoping to get a REAL HRM soon.
  • are the DVDs more instructional? Like showing how to do the steps?
  • I ended up just strapping it around my lower rib cage, since that's where it ends up anyway.
  • I've had Zumba for the Wii for a week now and I LOVE IT! This is my first experience with Zumba, and I will admit the first 2 days were really hard!! But by the 3rd day, I learned how to laugh about it when I mess up and have a blast. Once I started getting into it, I started sweating up a storm! The crappy thing is it…
  • BUMP for yumminess
  • I only have her Yoga Meltdown DVD and that kicks my *kitten* enough! lol I can't imagine trying any of the others. lol
  • Everything! I chop those babies up and put them on almost everything. I freaking love avocados!
  • Exactly!! Never thought of that before, but it really does!
  • For a long time, I was drinking soy milk and had all sorts of issues. I found out that it was the soy was causing so many issues with anyone that has thyroid problems. (If you have hypothyroidism or any other thyroid problems, you should watch out on the soy you consume!) It was then that I found Almond Breeze a year ago,…
  • Blank and Jones?! That's super old school! lol get with the times! :P
  • That's what i did when I went to see Wippenberg in Austin last summer. I was so drunk, that when he started playing one of my favorite songs, I climbed the front of the DJ booth and screamed at the top of my lungs. I was THAT drunk girl. lol But I was so upset the next few days because I didn't remember much of the show,…
  • You should really see A&B again! I've seen them 3 times! And you gotta see Armin play. Freaking amazing shows.
  • Speaking of Gabriel & Dresden, I'm going to see their reunion show in Austin next month! I'm so excited! Can't wait! Oh yeah, if you workout with your iPhone, get the DI radio app. DI.com is an electronic music radio site and they've moved on to mobile apps. There is a channel for every genre of EDM you can possibly think…
  • Sander van Doorn Marcel Woods Armin van Buuren Deadmau5 Ferry Corsten Above & Beyond Tiesto David Guetta Paul van Dyk Markus Schulz Laidback Luke Cosmic Gate Benny Benassi
  • I highly recommend you look for Sander van Doorn if you are looking up podcasts. This guy can keep it cranking! I believe his podcast shows are called "Identity" but if you search for Sander van Doorn, you should be able to find it easily
  • oh and if anyone is interested in trying it out but not knowing where to start, I can recommend some people to search for. Pandora uses mostly outdated tracks.
  • I never thought I'd see a thread like this on here. lol I'm a HUGE techno & trance addict. I've been to a ton of shows to see a ton of big DJs. I have Armin van Buuren's record label logo tattoo'd on my back. And my boyfriend of 3 years is a local trance DJ, also. lol Trance is a higher beats per minute than most other EDM…
  • this is why i try to stay away from baked goods and bread. White flour is evil. But then again, I love bread. *dreamy sigh*
  • I've never heard of this, but I suggest trying to keep it moisturized as much as you can and maybe with a lotion that has healing aloe. If you are loosing weight in that area, your skin needs to be as elastic as it can to conform to your changing body. That's my only guess as to why it might be doing that.
  • There isn't an "iced drink" button to push. But there are iced drink K-cups that you buy that are more concentrated in flavor. I have iced coffee K-cups. I just fill a glass with ice, and brew the K-cup like a normal brew. The concentrated coffee melts some of the ice, watering it down to become a perfect mix. I love my…
  • I would think that your metabolism is just high throughout the day after a workout. After a workout, it just keeps burning calories throughout the day. I'm thinking this might be why you are sweating more often. But after your body gets used to the higher metabolism, you'll stop sweating as much because your body isn't…
  • Whoa! Hottie!! *whistle* Congrats! What an inspiration!
  • I have such a hard time trying to find those! I think I saw them at a store about a year ago, and they were so expensive. I wonder if the price has gone down since then.
  • Great suggestions! I'm gonna have to try some of these! I need to try skinny cow one of these days! I love the Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Bars. I have the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor - yum! The 5g of fiber keeps the hunger at bay. I also grab those 100 cal packs of cookies because I'm a cookie fanatic.
  • Thanks! Great idea! I'll check out youtube!!

  • I've done it a couple of times. I can't hold the pose after doing all of those reps. Whew!
  • Jillian Michaels has an awesome yoga DVD called Yoga Meltdown. It comes with 2 different workouts to choose from. Anything from Gaiam is also really good. Rodney Yee is one of my favs and he has several out there. I also love Cardio Burn Yoga by Patricia Moreno - it will really work you!

  • I miss the Les Mills classes!!! I used to go to Pump, Attack, Combat, Jam and Flow. I was so addicted to those classes, did them 5 times a week for 6 months. But I didn't loose any weight, so I quit. :(
  • I've never tried Zumba, but I know I suck at dancing workouts! lol I've done hip hop dancing workouts and then I took some workout classes that involved various dance styles. I spend so much mental energy trying to think of what the next step is going to be and if I'm getting it right. So I end up not really getting into…
