I have a Carrera Subway (hybrid) which I have been upgrading for speed and comfort. Would love to invest in a road bike too, but tha will have to wait for now.

Thanks. In my plan I have halved my milage from the last week of training and plan on only doing easy rides with two days of rest before the event. I can refine it as I go along, but I've only been cycling for a year, so it is all new to me.

Mapping and keeping tabs on training. I don't race, but i do a few rides for charity throughout the year. 56 miles is my longest so far, but I like to sail through them, so I do alot of training.
