Two things: 1. Didn't realize a gain (I know, I know, NSV...) despite being put on restriction because of surgery. 2. Made it through Easter weekend without binging on my Mom's delicious home cooking!

I am 5'2", as well and my goal is 123. That is on the small side for me, but I set that as my goal at my doctor's direction. I was 135 before having my last two children and thought that was a good size but was more muscular then. I think your build, age, etc. have a lot to do with "ideal weight". Good luck - you look…

I'll co-sign this!! I cut back on the amount of coffee I drink daily, but still have a cup of "full octane" - regular with cream. :)

Did you get anything started for this?? I was recently diagnosed and had surgery and about to start rads and possibly chemo. Let me know! Ellumi

Best. Post. EVER. I find myself trolling through success story posts for before and afters to help me stay on track and see that it is possible (even though I know it is...I've dropped 20 pounds in the past few months, thanks to MFP and members!) and enjoy seeing everyone's progress. I'm thrilled to see how well everyone…

I keep a supply of kosher dill pickles in the 'fridge for the salty cravings and a stock of Baskin and Robbins sugar free 'cookies and cream' hard candies in my desk!

It's so hard to get an accurate idea of calorie count in Chinese food due to ingredient variables, but I usually get steamed veggies with chicken and order brown rice if available.

I started Saturday but wasn't able to do Sunday or Monday, so am counting this morning as my true "1st" day.

I just bought this DVD today at lunch! I get discouraged by terribly long workouts, so hoping this will keep me engaged, since it's a bit shorter than most of my other fitness dvds.

I am hoping that our kids will follow in a healthy lifestyle if we give them the tools. I am in charge of meal planning and grocery shopping at my house, so they are kind of at my mercy ;-) I have made significant changes without significantly changing the menu, so to speak. Cutting a lot of fat and calories by way of…

Congrats - you look great!! I'm 5'2" and currently 162. My ultimate goal weight is 123. High weight was 218 :(

Ok, I see that this post hasn't been updated in awhile but searched for spouse sabotage and stumbled here and feel like I need to vent. My dear husband is one of 'those'...he can eat ANYTHING and stays thin. I have the strength to overcome temptation and do pretty well but dang if he doesn't try to tempt me. He is very…
