Hello, everyone! My name is Lindsey and I am a sophomore (19) at South Dakota State University. I'm double majoring in Psychology and Sociology and minoring in Criminal Justice. I have been heavy all of my life, and have been yo yo dieting for a lot of years. I'm currently at 235 (the heaviest I've ever been) and am hoping…

Age: 19 (20 in February) Hieght: 5'7" Daily Calorie Goal: 1330 CW: around 235lbs GW: I don't really have a goal weight. I've never been small so I have no idea what my body is going to do after I lose weight. I'm guessing around 140lbs Preferred work-outs: Elliptical with some Wii Zumba thrown in the mix.

15/240 minutes of Zumba, Boxing, or Kickboxing 0/60 Yoga 5/5 miles I clearly didn't do as well as I would have liked this week, but I didn't start until Wednesday because of finals week. So, all in all, I'm content with what I have done these past four days.

Anybody can feel free to add me. I have 85 to 100+ to lose.

My worry is actually just the opposite. I have an elliptical at home that I will use everyday of break and then I'm afraid that I'll come back to school and stop being so active.
-
Also, for the 5 mile run, I'll be doing it on the elliptical because of bad knees. I was wondering if that was 5 miles at once or 5 miles altogether. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I'm doing this right!
-
I was also wondering if the elliptical (fairly fast and on level 2 or 3) counted as more advanced challenge.
-
Like someone said earlier, I think I'll do this option because it is definitely out of my comfort zone. I'm so excited to start!

I am starting a diet that is low in carbs as well (my cholesterol is through the roof). I actually visited with a dietitian and it wasn't as awful as I thought. She mostly told me I need to realize my portion sizes and everything in moderation.
-
Wow, you can't make that stuff up. ^^

I'm totally in! I'm starting the 30 day shred next week (this week is finals and there is no way I'd have time). I don't graduate in May (sophomore in college), but my little brother does. If I've lost a lot of weight then I'll buy myself a new outfit! Lots of luck to everyone!
-
starting in January is just fine for me.
-
I'm starting 30 day shred (again) in a week. I've never done weight watchers. I did a couple of days of the 30 day shred before and loved it.

Hello all! My name is Lindsey. I'm a 19 year old college student double majoring in Psychology and Sociology and minoring in Criminal Justice. I've been struggling with my weight all of my life and went back and forth during middle and high school, but nothing stuck. It's harder for me to fit in time to exercise and eat…

I'm in! I needed something like this to get me going again.
-
I'd like to know a little more on how the challenge would work, but I'm definitely in need for some new motivation!
-
This sounds like awesome motivation! I'm in if there is any room for me.
