  • I really liked Weight Watchers. But I let it go for financial reasons. I couldn't justify it when there are great sites available for free. I only ever did the online version though. No meetings for me.

  • I like friends too! I've been on and off lately, but I'm trying really hard to get motivated again. Almost back up to my highest weight... I will not get there again!
  • I run most of it. I usually start off by walking for the first bit (mostly because it is up hill) and then I try to run the rest of the time with a couple of walking breaks. But I'm pretty sure my walk is just as fast as my run. I have the chases turned off.

  • I've been considering going back to the 5K training. I just finished season 1, but I have gotten so slow. It's ridiculous. I still have a bit of stamina (nowhere near as good as it used to be), but my running is sometimes slower than my walking.

  • Do what is right for you. I wouldn't worry too much about tracking those vegetables. I generally do for the most part, but I'm not worried if I go over my intake when I eat a cucumber. It's better to be eating those things that others. I know a lot of people who don't track their vegetables (at least not low calorie ones).…
  • I always measure my days by when I sleep. So I would add it to the "current" day every time. It might be easier to put it on the next day so you don't go over, but then you have that much less food available to you the next day which will just cause the cycle to get worse.

  • There are so many other spices that you can use besides salt. Garlic, basil, chili powder. I never add salt to anything and always find my food quite flavourful. You just have to adjust your taste buds a bit at first.
