my dad was just admitted to the hospital. two weeks of flu symptoms, dipping oxygen levels, difficulty breathing. there haven't been any confirmed cases in my area yet. i'm trying not to get scared here but *kitten* it might end up hitting me close to home after all.

i'm actually not sure if the other star ocean games are any good. i heard 5 was pretty meh. 3 was one of my favorites as a kid so it could just be the nostalgia goggles talking, but that one in particular is fantastic. the voice acting leaves a lot to be desired, but the plot and combat more than make up for it imo. o:)
