Maybe your overestimating exercise calories! Nearly 1000 is a lot to burn in a day, maybe eat back 50-75% of what MFP says you burned

I think it was just a rule because people who skipped it would pick on sugary things in the morning if they were hungry and end up consuming more calories then they would by just having breakfast. Are you tracking properly? If you are under eating sure your metabolism slows but not enough to stop weight loss altogether. Your over estimating exercise or under estimating food I had an eating disorder and starved myself to 500cals a day and lost weight, all that about plateauing cause not eating enough is bull IMO.…
