After high school I was around 270lbs for a few years. I stepped on the scale about 5yrs ago and I was at 297lbs and that was the final straw for me. I felt so disgusted with myself so I decided to change and im still on that journey.

Im at 6'2". I started at 297, down to 196 right now and my goal is 175lbs. Although I do plan to put on a bit of muscle weight once I get to 175.

I was actually thinking about joining something like that. I want to see how much I can actually accomplish. To think, a few years ago I couldn't run 1 mile without stopping and usually timed them at around 16mins/mile and I have been able to cut that down to 8mins/mile. Thanks for the advice!
