  • As I understand it, ringworm is a fungus that likes wet, warm places - and is frequently spread at gyms, through dirty clothes, towels, sharing combs, brushes, and via animals or the skin of infected people. And if you get the fungus on your clothes, at the gym for example, and then keep rewearing those clothes without…
  • Ditto... I can find Lee (although usually in the boy names), but I've only once found anything spelled Leigh
  • This is what I was thinking at the beginning of the thread when all these confessions were made- this happened to a girl in college who always re-wore workout clothes without washing. I was never one for wearing things more than once or twice anyway, but ever since then I've been paranoid about ringworm! Even when we go…
  • I was late too! I'm Leigh
  • What a great photo!! Congrats on improving up to 3'!
  • Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one! For me it's a combination of just loving my dairy products too much, and also having a very stubborn mindset/personality. I hate the idea that my stomach is trying to keep me from eating things I love, so I just eat them anyway - I'll show you, stomach! But lactase is my best friend. I…
  • I feel for you! Have you tried lactaid (lactase) pills to see if they help? They're supposed to provide the enzyme that lactose intolerant people lack, so that you can digest dairy without pain or, ummmm, other unpleasant side effects. I am definitely lactose intolerant, but since it didn't get diagnosed until I was 27, I…
  • Yes, I have one of those too! One for whites, one for mediums and one for darks. The hard part is convincing my fiance to put things in the right bins. I'm forever taking his stuff out of the dark bin and moving to the medium one (he only did whites and darks when he lived alone).
  • Agreed, you aren't overreacting, and you deserve so much better than that. Only you can decide whether it's worth trying to fix this relationship, or whether it's best to move on and focus on healing yourself. But either way, you deserve better, and I hope that you find happiness!
  • I both love and hate that feeling!! Every time I go to put on my workout tight-style leggings, I look at them and think "OMG, I must have shrunk them." And then I'm amazed when they fit. It's great that they fit (no complaints there!) but I wish my brain would catch up with my body!
  • Hahaha, love this. I've taken on carrying the dog food and cat food, but I still let him manage the cat litter!
  • Agree completely with Mo - you've been doing awesome! And I love love love your new profile pic
  • Beautiful, you did a great job!
  • You didn't miss it! We are getting married the first weekend of October in Indianapolis (where I'm from), so we still have plenty of time. I don't think it will be a huge wedding, but not small either - shooting for 120 guests. I feel like a little bit of a jerk having complained, because my mom and sister were great this…
  • x3 You were beautiful in the photos you posted here! Look back on them with a smile, and focus on how great of a day it was. You got married!
  • Yes, Happy birthdays!!
  • Oh my - that was definitely a reasonable request. Although, I think I would have done much more than ask for a new table, I would have left. I know that sometimes ants are an uncontrollable problem, but I wouldn't have been able to eat there after seeing that.
  • I can't believe I just found this out, after having already had breakfast. So now I'll be having a donut and an iced coffee for lunch. My confession of the day - today I woke up and really wished that my fiance and I had decided to elope. I love my family and am looking forward to the chance to meet extended family on his…
  • Yes, I prefer the gradual, buildable ones too. I let them double as my moisturizer for my legs in the summer - but only use them on my legs, because my arms get a little more sun naturally. I don't use it every day, maybe 3 days out of seven each week, and it's just enough to keep my legs from being too scary in shorts. I…
  • Awww, thanks for asking! He is improving slowly but steadily. His stomach is still a bit unsettled, so he's on a rice and cottage cheese mixed with dog food diet until that goes away, but he seems to be feeling so much better. He's playful and happy-go-lucky again, and he's no longer taking any crap from the cats when they…
  • Giant is in Maryland and DC too. And Safeway is definitely a different chain here. Last night at Safeway we found ice cream that had brownie pieces, cookie dough and oreos in it. Almost like Ben & Jerry's Half Baked + Oreos, except no chocolate ice cream base, just vanilla - and in a way larger container! I didn't have…
  • I think that any swimsuit that gets you excited is amazing! I've been more or less maintaining for the past year, and I still get nervous in a swimsuit. Out of curiosity, which swimsuit was number 2? (the Anthropologie look-alike?) I'm still looking for a good new suit for this summer and then for the honeymoon...
  • Agree with the others- I usually have half or more of my daily calories left at dinner time, hasn't hindered my weight loss at all
  • Do your cats like it as much as ours do? They love it... although the chubby one appears to be afraid to climb it all the way to the top. The top level is reserved for Purranha. One of the best Amazon purchases ever
  • Thank you! Purranha is my mischevious one. He acts shy and aloof, but loves to cause trouble and pick on the dog. Tadpole just likes to snuggle, and occasionally pounce on Purr when he's not expecting it. I never thought I was a cat person, but I'm pretty attached to these two!
  • Haha, this is great! My best friend and I both turn 30 this year, and while I'm not concerned about it, she is really stressed out about it. Maybe I'll tell her that she can keep on being 29 indefinitely
  • OMG, that sounds awful! My mom has a kennel, and she's only had two dogs over the years that liked eating poop - Luckily Jazz isn't one of them, although he doesn't mind eating nasty stuff in the woods when we're hiking/camping, and he has no qualms about cleaning up if one of the cats eats too fast and throws it up. Love…
  • Aww, thank you! Yes, he has one brown eye and one blue eye. And to make things even more interesting, he has a blue spot at the bottom of his brown eye! They are very distinctive!
  • My poor pup has been so sick for a week now, just kinda tired and lethargic, plus a little sick to his stomach. Still eating (for the most part), but nothing seems to agree with him. Trying to get him in to see the vet in the next day or two - hopefully it's nothing serious and he just ate something bad! He might be almost…
  • That's awesome! Congratulations
